Mahindra has confirmed that the second batch of the BE 6 Batman Edition was booked out shortly after bookings opened. According to the company, all 999 units were reserved within seven minutes.

The special edition was recently reintroduced at Rs 28.49 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 70,000 higher than its earlier introductory price. Deliveries for this batch are scheduled to begin from April 10, 2026.

The BE 6 Batman Edition was first revealed in August 2025 as a limited-production model inspired by The Dark Knight Trilogy. Mahindra initially planned to produce 300 units, but increased the allocation to 999 units ahead of bookings after receiving strong interest from customers.

The company later reopened bookings for another batch of the special edition in March 2026, again offering 999 units.

The special edition is based on the fully loaded Pack Three variant of the BE 6 and features several cosmetic changes inspired by Batman.

Exterior highlights include a Satin Black paint finish, Batman decals on the doors, Bat emblems on body panels and 20-inch alloy wheels. The suspension components and brake calipers are finished in a golden hue.

Inside, the cabin adopts an all-black theme with gold accents, including black suede leather upholstery with gold stitching and Bat emblems. A numbered plaque on the centre console highlights the limited-edition nature of the model.

The feature list remains unchanged from the standard BE 6 and includes dual 12.3-inch screens, an augmented-reality head-up display, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, Level 2 ADAS, seven airbags and a 360-degree camera.

The Batman Edition uses the 79kWh battery pack offered on the top-spec BE 6 variant. The electric motor produces 286hp and 380Nm, with a claimed range of up to 682km on a single charge.

Priced at Rs 28.49 lakh, the BE 6 Batman Edition costs Rs 1.59 lakh more than the regular Pack Three variant. The price excludes the charger, which costs Rs 50,000 to Rs 75,000.

The BE 6 competes with the Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti e Vitara, MG ZS EV, VinFast VF6 and Tata Curvv EV.
