Kia Sorento key specifications

Kia is expected to either launch a localised Sorento or a Sorento-based SUV for India. The global-spec model features a 238hp 1.6-litre turbo-petrol hybrid, a 288hp 1.6-litre turbo-petrol plug-in hybrid and a 2.2-litre diesel hybrid. Petrol versions are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the diesel is paired with an 8-speed DCT. AWD is standard across all engines.

But the India-spec Sorento is expected to get Seltos-derived engines and debut a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol hybrid engine.
