Hyundai Creta price in Shahada
Hyundai Creta on road price in Shahada, the base model Petrol E MT starts at 12.88 lakh and the top model Diesel King Knight AT reaches 24.48 lakh. The Diesel EX(O) AT sits between the two at 19.39 lakh, and that middle section is where most buyers end up.
If you are financing Creta, a loan of 11,60,000 on the base model Petrol E MT means an EMI of 18,663 a month. Stepping up to the top model Diesel King Knight AT raises that to 35,396 on a loan of 22,00,000.
Why prices change from the base model to the top model:
There are three engines here rather than one, so part of the price difference is the engine you pick before any equipment is counted.
The diesel costs more than the 115hp petrol, and the 160hp turbo-petrol sits above both.
Four gearboxes are offered across the range, and every automatic option costs more than the manual it replaces.
The panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats and the 360-degree camera arrive part way up the range rather than at the bottom.
Adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist and automatic emergency braking are reserved for the higher variants, which is where the last part of the price goes.
Registration, road tax and insurance are added to the ex-showroom figure, and how much they add depends on the state you buy in. That is why the same variant costs more in one city than another.

Hyundai Creta FAQs
The 2026 Hyundai Creta feels dated in comparison to newer offerings like the Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Renault Duster, Nissan Tekton, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun. As such, it misses out on a lot of new-age features that the rivals offer, while being offered at a similar price compared to the newer rivals. So, even though it is the bestselling midsize SUV, it does not currently offer a lot of value for the price paid.
Questions you may find useful
I have a 2013 Volkswagen Polo petrol, and my parents are retired. I need an automatic car that’s easy for them to get in and out of, with a very comfortable ride, excellent NVH levels and more rear-seat space. My usage is very low, about 5,000-7,000 km a year, mainly in the city, and I plan to keep the car for more than eight years. My budget is Rs 20 lakh. My shortlist includes the Mahindra XUV 3XO turbo-petrol, the Skoda Kushaq 1.0 AT and the Hyundai Creta IVT. I skipped the Kia Seltos because of its size. Which of these is the best, or are there any better options?
The Hyundai Creta 1.5 petrol IVT would be our clear recommendation for your requirements. It has a comfortable seating position, wide-opening doors, a spacious rear seat and a plush ride. Its naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with the IVT is also very smooth in city traffic. The Skoda Kushaq 1.0 AT is enjoyable to drive and has supportive seats, but its low-speed ride is firmer, and its engine and gearbox combination isn't as smooth as the Creta's IVT. The Mahindra XUV 3XO TGDi AT offers excellent performance and a comfortable rear seat, but its ride has a slightly firm edge and its boot is relatively small.
Hyundai dealers are giving more than 1 lakh discounts on Creta. Should I wait for year end or not?
Hi, I am planning to buy a 2026 Creta IVT S(O) Petrol. During the PDI, I noticed that the engine moves forward and backward when I shift gears from P to D, D to R, and R to D. The movement is about 1 cm to 1 inch. The sales representative showed me another Creta at the yard, which exhibited the same behavior. There is no other concerning noise. When sitting inside the car with all the doors closed, the cabin is quiet, and there are no shaking or thudding sounds that I could hear. Is this engine movement when shifting to D or R normal? Thanks
Congratulations on your new Hyundai Creta IVT! The slight forward and backward movement of the engine when shifting between P, D and R is normal, as the engine experiences a change in load. The engine mounts are designed to absorb this movement. Since there are no unusual noises, thuds or vibrations inside the cabin of this Hyundai car, there is nothing to worry about.
I am planning to buy either Bayon or Creta under a budget of Rs. 15 lakh. Which car and what variant do you suggest?
Between the Bayon and Creta, we would recommend the Bayon since your budget is Rs.15 lakh. At this price, you can get a better equipped variant of the Bayon rather than sacrificing creature comforts. The Creta gets the same powertrain as the Bayon and is a bit larger in size. However, the wheelbase is almost identical and space in the rear is not too far off in the Bayon. Also, being a higher variant you get better equipment like auto climate control, reversing camera, keyless entry etc that make the Bayon better value. For the city, the naturally aspirated engine and CVT gearbox is well-suited. Another option to consider is the Maruti Suzuki Brezza in its automatic guise. It gets a smooth engine and gearbox along with a spacious rear seat and you can get the top-spec version in Rs. 15 lakh.
