The BMW iX is my latest acquisition, and it's a blast! Being electric means no need for fuel, yay! It has tons of room inside and is really comfortable too. However, it's a bit pricey compared to other cars in this bracket. Some people think its design is weird, but I find it quirky!
I test drove both the 40 and 50 models, and the acceleration in both is impressive. The ride is much more comfortable in the 50 model with air suspension. The performance and interior space are very impressive; the car is the size of the X5 yet has the boot space of the X3. It has many features, a good range, and rapid acceleration, but some competitors offer greater range.
Having driven the BMW iX for a year, I can confidently say it's a breakthrough in electric vehicles. Its futuristic architecture is eye-catching, and the roomy, high-tech interior is cozy. With a range of up to 425 kilometers, the twin electric motors provide exciting performance for long drives. The modern driver aid systems enhance safety, making every trip enjoyable.
The iX's exterior is bold; you either love it or hate it. Its large, closed-off grille and futuristic lines create a strong visual impact. While it may not appeal to everyone, it certainly stands out. The cabin is a luxurious haven with a curved display for the infotainment system. The materials are top-notch, and the ambiance is sophisticated, though some might find the minimalist approach too stark.
Initially, we were a bit skeptical about the iX due to its new design, but it looks aggressive and sporty in black. The interiors are flawless with a minimalistic design, comfortable seats, a full panoramic sunroof, and a curved display. It has a good driving range of about 450 km on a single charge, which is more than enough for us. Our weekend getaway to Jaipur was simply amazing.
I wanted an electric vehicle and initially booked the BMW i4, but it felt too low and cramped. After researching, I found the BMW iX meets all my needs for range, ground clearance, and features. It's spacious with comfortable seating, intense acceleration, and a driving distance of 300 km at 120 kmph. City driving yields even better mileage, but BMW's own chargers are disappointing.
I was eager to try the iX, and it hasn't let me down. The design is futuristic, and the driving experience is superb. I love the tech features and how smooth the ride is. The only downside is the charging time; it could be faster. Overall, it's an incredible option for an electric vehicle that doesn't compromise on luxury.
The BMW iX is a fantastic electric SUV, looking futuristic outside and stylish inside. It has an impressive driving range of about 400 km on a single charge, which suits my daily needs. The cabin is modern and premium, with sustainable materials and advanced tech. The ride quality is amazing, super comfortable, and the dual motor ensures quick acceleration with plenty of torque.
This car is quick and has top-notch quality, comfort, and mileage. It provides a better range of around 500 km on a single charge. The interior features a modern, premium cabin with advanced technology, and its outlook is superb.
Nice experience with this superb car. It's a scratch into the premium car price, and the best part is that it runs on electricity with no fuel consumption, making it a future car.

I am looking to purchase a vehicle worth around ₹1.5 crore. What are the best options in the market with good after-sales service?
There are plenty of options available within your budget of Rs 1.5 crore from brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Lexus, Land Rover and Maserati. However, since after-sales support is a key priority for you, we would recommend opting for Mercedes-Benz and BMW cars. These manufacturers have the widest service footprint among luxury carmakers, and since the majority of their products are locally assembled, parts are in ready supply. From Mercedes's line-up, we suggest that you consider the GLS from the ICE line-up or the electric EQS SUV. The best options from BMW for the money are the X7 and the all-electric iX. You could also consider the Toyota Vellfire. It's a supremely comfortable MPV with Toyota's bulletproof reliability.
I am planning to buy a luxury EV and am confused between the EQS 450, BMW iX xDrive 50, Macan Electric, and Audi e-tron SUV. This car will be for my wife, who is constantly on the move and meets HNIs regularly. The car will be chauffeur-driven. My priorities are: 1. Image 2. Range 3. Resale 4. Comfort 5. Tech Please suggest which one to buy.
All are excellent choices in this price range, but we can narrow it down. All of them pack large batteries and have good range, so that is the least of your worries. The Porsche Macan EV is high on image value, but as a primarily chauffeur-driven car, it's not great, with ride comfort and back seat space not as good as the rest. The Audi Q8 e-tron has arguably the best back seat and ride comfort of the lot, but it is dated now and is the lowest on flash value, and looks understated like a regular Audi car SUV, and isn't packing the latest tech. The BMW iX xDrive 50 EV is an excellent all-rounder that's powerful and great to drive, but while quirky and interesting, it doesn't quite have the presence to make a strong statement. The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV 450, then, should be your pick. It offers good space and comfort in the second row, excellent range, great image and presence, and loads of tech, including Mercedes' much vaunted 'hyperscreen' dashboard. Resale value is still a question mark with EVs, but Mercedes is trying to change that perception with buyback schemes on its electric cars, so be sure to check those out.
