Waiting periods for the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder have reduced by a significant amount in February 2024, compared to the end of 2023. Meanwhile, delivery timelines for the Rumion MPV and the Glanza hatchback, which are manufactured by Maruti Suzuki, have remained the same.

  1. Hyryder hybrid wait times are 4-5 months
  2. Hyryder mild-hybrid waiting period around 8-9 months
  3. Rumion waiting period is 6-7 months; CNG's bookings halted
  4. Glanza waiting period is about 1 month

Toyota Hyryder waiting periods in February 2024

For those who book their Hyryder hybrid today, the wait for delivery will stretch to 4-5 months, which is about 1.5 months less than the wait times at the end of December 2023. Meanwhile, waiting periods for the Hyryder mild-hybrid and CNG versions stand at 8-9 months and 12-13 months, respectively, which represents a cut of about 3 months and 4 months.

Interestingly, those unwilling to wait for the Hyryder can opt to buy the Maruti Grand Vitara, which is the Hyryder’s badge-engineered sibling. Maruti’s midsize SUV has a waiting period of about 2.5 months, depending on the variant. Toyota offers the Hyryder with 103hp, 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol and 115hp, 1.5-litre petrol-electric powertrains, with prices ranging between Rs 11.14 lakh-20.19 lakh.

Toyota Rumion waiting periods in February 2024

Buyers of Toyota's version of the Maruti Ertiga, the Rumion, will have to wait 6-7 months for their new MPV; about 3-4 months longer than the Ertiga, and about 2-3 months longer than the Maruti XL6. As has been the case since September last year, bookings for the Rumion CNG have been closed as the brand said it received an “overwhelming response”.

Toyota’s Rumion is powered by the same 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine seen in the Hyryder, and has the same 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox options. The MPV is priced between Rs 10.44 lakh-13.73 lakh.

Toyota Glanza waiting periods in February 2024

The Baleno’s badge-engineered sibling, the Glanza, currently has a wait time of about a month, which is about a week longer than a customer would have to wait for delivery of their Maruti-badged premium hatchback. However, the waiting period is the same for the 5-speed manual and the 5-speed AMT.

Both transmissions are paired to a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine. Toyota Glanza prices currently range from Rs 6.86 lakh to 9.99 lakh.
