After revealing the exterior and interior of the Punch facelift earlier this week, Tata Motors has now shared details about the subcompact SUV’s trim line-up and features. The 2026 Tata Punch will be offered in six trim levels: Smart, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Accomplished and Accomplished+ S.
- Tata Punch to get a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine option
- It also has a new Punch EV-inspired exterior design
- Updated digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera among new features
2026 Tata Punch revised trim line-up
The pre-facelift Punch has 10 trim levels: Pure, Pure (O), Adventure, Adventure+, Adventure S, Adventure+ S, Accomplished+, Accomplished+ S, Creative+ and Creative+ S.
Tata Motors has simplified the Punch line-up with fewer trims. Smart is now the new base trim, while the previous top-spec Creative+ trims have been scrapped.
2026 Tata Punch trims and features explained

Smart
Right from the base Smart trim, Tata Motors will be offering 6 airbags, ESC and a tyre-pressure monitoring system (TMPS). The pre-facelift model gets only 2 airbags across the range. The upcoming Punch will also come with LED headlamps, remote keyless entry and drive modes (City and Eco).
Pure
The Pure trim will add rear AC vents, steering-mounted controls, a front centre armrest, a rear defogger and a day/night interior rearview mirror (IRVM).
Pure+
This trim will further add an 8.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, a reverse parking camera, a height-adjustable driver’s seat and a USB Type-C fast charger.
Adventure
Next, the Adventure trim will be quite well-equipped with features such as push-button start, rear wiper and washer, auto AC, auto headlamps and rain-sensing wipers. A 360-degree camera and a blind-view monitor, available from this trim, are completely new additions on the Punch.
Accomplished
The Accomplished trim will add 16-inch alloy wheels, a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen, LED daytime running lamps, a touch-based climate control panel and extended thigh support for the seats, the latter two being new additions.
Accomplished+ S
Lastly, the Accomplished+ S will get a voice-assisted electric sunroof, LED fog lamps with cornering function, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster (new), a wireless phone charger, an auto-dimming IRVM and a connected car suite.
Tata Punch engine options
The updated Punch will get a new engine option – the 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol unit seen on the Nexon – although its exact specs and gearbox options are yet to be confirmed. The existing 88hp naturally aspirated petrol with its 5-speed MT and AMT gearbox options and the 73hp petrol+CNG powertrain with the 5-speed MT are also expected to continue as is.
Upon launch, the Punch facelift will continue to rival the likes of the Hyundai Exter and Citroen C3. The outgoing Punch is priced between Rs 5.50 lakh and Rs 9.30 lakh, ex-showroom. We expect the Punch facelift to come at a slight premium, likely ranging between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 9.50 lakh.
