The German brand has also announced the start of local assembly at the Volkswagen Group (SAVWIPL) plant in Aurangabad.

  1. Second-gen Audi Q7’s second facelift has new headlights, revised grille
  2. It will offer five exterior colour choices and two new trim finishes for interior
  3. Q7 will continue to be powered by the 340hp, 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol

2024 Audi Q7 facelift design

The second facelift for the Audi Q7 was revealed in January this year, and it has received more than a few changes to the exterior. It shares the LED headlights with the all-electric Audi Q6 e-tron. These units are mounted higher than they are in the outgoing model and use laser diodes for new-design daytime running lights, which have four different “light signatures” that are selectable via the infotainment system. Now, the OLED tail-lights also come with the ability to have four different light signatures.

The front grille has been revised with a thicker chrome surround and a hexagonal pattern, and international models also get five new-design alloy wheel options, ranging from 20 inches to 22 inches. The 2024 Q7 will come with a choice of five exterior colours: Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey and Glacier White.

The refreshed Q7 gets contrasting grey leather with two new trim finishes – Cedar Brown and Saiga Beige – and its infotainment system has also been upgraded to allow passengers to stream music from apps like Spotify and Amazon Music. Audi has also upgraded the Virtual Cockpit with a lane-change warning system. No other changes are expected to the features list or the safety kit.

2024 Audi Q7 facelift engine

Mechanically, the Q7 facelift is unchanged and continues to be powered by a 340hp, 500Nm, 3.0-litre turbo-petrol V6 engine. An 8-speed automatic sends power to all four wheels via Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The company claims a 0-100kph time of 5.6 seconds and a top speed of 250kph.

2024 Audi Q7 facelift price estimate and rivals

Expect the refreshed Q7 to cost more than the outgoing model, which is priced between Rs 88.66 lakh and Rs 97.84 lakh. The large, premium three-row SUV will continue to rival the BMW X5 (Rs 97 lakh-99 lakh), Mercedes GLE (Rs 97.85 lakh) and Volvo XC90 (Rs 1.01 crore).
