Mahindra has released a new teaser for the XUV 7XO – the rebranded XUV700 facelift – that previews the updated SUV’s interior. By the looks of it, the Mahindra XUV 7XO interior will receive substantial updates and borrow a notable feature from the all-electric XEV 9S and XEV 9e.

Mahindra XUV 7XO interior updates
First ICE-powered Mahindra car to offer a three-screen setup

The newly-released teaser prominently confirms that the XUV 7XO will come equipped with a triple-screen setup comprising a digital driver’s display, central infotainment touchscreen, and passenger display. This makes the XUV 7XO the first ICE-powered Mahindra offering to get a triple-screen layout, as the feature was previously exclusive to the XEV 9e and XEV 9S.
New steering wheel inspired by those of Mahindra EVs

We can also observe a new two-spoke steering wheel that looks very similar to those of Mahindra’s EVs, but sporting the ‘Twin Peaks’ motif instead of the EV-exclusive ‘Infinity’ emblem. The steering wheel is finished in a new beige-and-black colour scheme, and so is the rest of the cabin.
Redone centre console deletes physical HVAC controls
Additionally, Mahindra has done away with the XUV700’s physical HVAC controls for the XUV 7XO, and instead folded them into the infotainment touchscreen. The redesigned XUV 7XO centre console looks to include touch-capacitive controls for drive mode selection, the 360-degree camera, hazard lights, and more.
Powered boss mode and ambient lighting confirmed

Other new feature additions for the XUV 7XO include a powered Boss mode that can electrically slide and recline the co-driver seat from the second row, ambient lighting, and a Harman Kardon sound system; the XUV700 has a Sony sound system.
