The Mahindra XUV 3XO's full five-star safety rating in the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (BNCAP) crash tests has been extended to its new ZNG (CNG in brand speak) trims. The XUV 3XO was first crash tested by the Bharat NCAP in November 2024, scoring 29.36/32 points in adult occupant protection (AOP) and 43/49 points in child occupant protection (COP); these scores were applicable to all turbo-petrol and diesel trims.
