Mahindra Thar Roxx prices up by Rs 60,000

The prices of the Mahindra Thar Roxx have been hiked with immediate effect, ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 60,000, depending on the variant. Last month, the company announced that it would increase the prices of its SUVs due to rising input costs. Deliveries of the Roxx are currently underway in full swing.

Mahindra Thar Roxx prices as of January 2025

For the Mahindra Thar Roxx petrol, prices for all variants, except the top-spec AX7L, remain unchanged. The line-up starts at Rs 12.99 lakh for the entry-level MX1 MT variant. The petrol automatic range starts at Rs 14.99 lakh, while the top-spec automatic variant, the AX7L AT, now costs Rs 20.49 lakh – an increase of Rs 50,000 from last year. This variant sees a price hike of 2.5 percent. 

For the Thar Roxx diesel, prices for 7 out of the 13 variants have been hiked. While the starting price remains unchanged at Rs 13.99 lakh, variants such as the MX5 MT 4X4 see a Rs 30,000 price hike. The AX5L MT 4X4 now costs Rs 21.09 lakh, up Rs 10,000 from last month. The AX7L MT is now priced at Rs 19.49 lakh, up Rs 50,000 from December 2024. The top models, the AX7L MT 4X4 and AX7L AT 4X4, have seen the highest price hikes in the entire line-up, now starting at Rs 23.09 lakh – an increase of Rs 60,000 from last month.

Mahindra Thar Roxx's waiting period for January 2025

As for the waiting period, we are told that the mid and top-level variants of the Thar Roxx petrol have a relatively shorter waiting period of under five to six months at most locations, depending on inventory. Delivery times for the diesel variants are comparatively longer at most locations. The diesel 4x4 automatic variants with mocha interior has a waiting for around 8-9 months.
