    Discounts of up to Rs 12.80 lakh on Mercedes-Benz cars, SUVs

    Thanks to an industry-wide slump, carmakers are offering incentives to buyers in a bid to push sales and clear stock of older models. Hence, Mercedes-Benz dealers are offering huge discounts and benefits on a wide variety of cars for the month of July. Read on to find out how much you can save on the purchase of a new Mercedes-Benz vehicle this month.

    Mercedes-Benz S-class

    Save up to Rs 12.80 lakh
    Mercedes’ flagship sedan, the S-class, is available with discounts of Rs 12.80 lakh and complimentary insurance for 2018 models of the S 350d variant, which is powered by a 286hp, 3.0-litre straight-six diesel motor. The 367hp S 450 petrol model gets a Rs 9.05 lakh discount and complimentary insurance as well. The uber-luxurious  Maybach range, too, gets a discount of up to Rs 7.75 lakh for 2018 models.

    Mercedes-Benz CLA

    Save up to Rs 10.25 lakh
    The Mercedes-Benz CLA is the carmaker’s entry-level sedan offering that can be had with benefits of up to Rs 4.15 lakh for MY2018 cars and Rs 3.15 lakh for MY2019 cars. The CLA 45 AMG, meanwhile, is being offered with a huge discount of Rs 10.25 lakh and complimentary insurance; however, the benefits are only applicable on 2015 models of the AMG, which had a 360hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine instead of the 380hp motor now available on the performance sedan.

    Mercedes-Benz GLE

    Save up to Rs 9 lakh
    With the new-generation model already out overseas, 2018 model year GLEs are being offered with benefits of up to Rs 9 lakh, with a view to clear stocks. The offer is applicable on both versions of the SUV – the 204hp 250d and the 258hp 350d. Furthermore, MY2018 Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 coupes, which are powered by a 367hp, 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6, can be availed with discounts of Rs 3 lakh. 

    Mercedes-Benz GLC

    Save up to Rs 7.55 lakh
    Given that the facelifted GLC will be introduced soon, Mercedes dealers are keen to clear stocks of the current GLC SUV. 2018 models of the luxury SUV are available with Rs 7.55 lakh off on the petrol 300 Progressive variant, Rs 7.30 lakh off on the diesel Prime trim and Rs 6.80 lakh off on the diesel Progressive variant. MY2019 GLCs can also be had with discounts, with Rs 4.80 lakh off on the diesel variants and Rs 4.55 lakh off on the GLC petrols.

    Mercedes-Benz E-class

    Save up to Rs 7.50 lakh
    The Mercedes-Benz E-class, in its range-topping E 350d guise is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 7.50 lakh for 2018 models. Also, dealers are offering benefits of up to Rs 6.75 lakh on the MY 2018 E 200 and E 220d variants, while MY2019 cars have a Rs 4.80 lakh discount. Dealers are also offering the E-class Expression and Exclusive variants with up to Rs 1.75 lakh off, along with a discount of up to Rs 3.50 lakh on the slow-selling E-class All-Terrain model. The E 220d and E-class All-Terrain share the same 194hp, 2.0-litre diesel motor, the E 350d gets a 258hp, 3.0-litre V6 diesel, while the E 200 is powered by an 184hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol mill. The E-class range rivals the BMW 5-series, Jaguar XF and Audi A6.

    Mercedes-Benz GLS

    Save up to Rs 6.75 lakh
    The GLS is the largest SUV in Mercedes’ line up and with the next-generation model right around the corner, dealers are offering the current-gen GLS 350d with a discount of Rs 6.75 lakh. Powering the 350d is a 258hp, 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel engine that sends power to all four wheels via a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox and Mercedes’ 4MATIC system.

    Mercedes-Benz C-class

    Save up to Rs 6.25 lakh
    A rival to the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4, the C-class is being offered with benefits up to Rs 6.25 lakh on the MY2018 C 220d facelift and Rs 5.75 lakh on the C 200 petrol facelift. The MY2019 cars are also available with a discount of Rs 3.75 lakh for both, the C 220d and C 200. Additionally, C 220d buyers (for both MY2018 and MY2019) will also get a special ‘C-class Radiant Package’ option worth Rs 50,000, which gets the sportier Mercedes-Benz diamond grille along with the LED projector logo. Furthermore, the C-class Cabriolet can also be had with a discount of Rs 1.50 lakh for 2018 models. The Mercedes C-class facelift was launched in India in September 2018, featuring BS6-compliant diesel engines in the 194hp C 220d and the 245hp C 300d, along with an all-new 184hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech in the C200.

    Mercedes-Benz A-/B-class

    Save up to Rs 6.25 lakh
    The Mercedes-Benz A- and B-class models represent an entry-point to the brand.  Presently, both models can be had with discounts of Rs 6.25 lakh. The discounts are valid on the MY2017 A-class and the MY2016 and MY2017 B-class. Both are powered by a 122hp, 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 136hp, 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine.

    Mercedes-Benz GLA

    Save up to Rs 6 lakh
    The GLA is Mercedes’ smallest SUV, which is powered by a 136hp, 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine and a 183hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The GLA is now available with discounts of up to Rs 6 lakh for 2018 models. Furthermore, MY2019 GLAs can be had with Rs 4.25 lakh and Rs 2.50 lakh off for the Sports and Urban Edition variants, respectively. Additionally, the benefits also include a Mercedes-Benz paint sealant treatment.

    Mercedes-Benz V-class

    Save up to Rs 1.50 lakh
    Mercedes’ luxury people-mover, the V-class, was launched in India in January this year at Rs 68.40 lakh in two-seating configurations. Powered by a 163hp, 2.1-litre turbo-diesel engine, the V-class is being offered with an exchange bonus of Rs 1.50 lakh.

    Mercedes-Benz CLS

    Save up to Rs 1.50 lakh
    The CLS, with its long bonnet and swooping roofline, looks striking from just about every angle. Available with a solitary 245hp, 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine, the CLS can be had with benefits of Rs 1.50 lakh for 2018 models.
