2025 Skoda Octavia RS engine and gearbox
265hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, but no Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC).
The Octavia RS will come to India in UK-spec form (built in Czech Republic), so it'll be powered by the EA888 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine developing 265hp and 370Nm. This engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic channeling power to the front wheels, with a claimed 0-100kph time of 6.4 seconds and a top speed of 250kph.
However, there is a notable feature that isn't available in UK-spec Octavia RS models as standard – Dynamic Chassic Control. DCC effectively impacts the Octavia RS' driving manners by making constant adjustments to the suspension damping, steering system and transmission. To that end, the 2025 Octavia RS models sold in India won't offer DCC.
All prices are ex-showroom, India.
