One-off Helderburg Defender 110 Byzek image gallery
Helderburg, an Arkansas-based bespoke design and engineering house, has unveiled a one-off Defender 110 called Byzek. Unlike a restomod that relies heavily on outside parts, Helderburg has reworked every component. The SUV also features a re-engineered drivetrain that the company says was tuned for smoother power delivery and a more grand-touring character. Byzek also features a special Arctic Grey exterior paint that shifts between a light blue-grey and a darker charcoal shade, depending on the lighting outside.
"I envisioned...a design inspired by James Bond [films]. My objective was to fashion a Defender that prioritised its smooth lines, invoking a feeling of elegance. Byzek achieved the ideal equilibrium: a commanding presence exuding ruggedness, capability and timelessness," Helderburg founder Paul Potratz said.
