The MG Majestor, which was recently unveiled, is slated for a launch in April 2026. Along with the specifications and powertrain, MG revealed that the Gloster will be offered in two trims, Sharp and Savvy, while also sharing the feature list for these. The Majestor will be positioned above the Gloster in MG’s line-up and serve as the brand’s flagship ICE SUV.

The MG Majestor is powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine that puts out 215hp and 478Nm, mated to an 8-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox. This mill also does duties in the higher trims of the MG Gloster. While the lower-spec Sharp trim comes with a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) setup only, the fully loaded Savvy trim is also available with the option of four-wheel drive (4WD).

Both trims of the MG Majestor are available in four colour options: Black Ash, Black Metal, Concrete Grey and Pearl White. The cabin is finished in black.

The MG Majestor’s entry-spec Sharp trim is well-equipped with two 12.3-inch screens, a 360-degree camera, two wireless phone chargers, a powered tailgate and all-LED headlights, which are just a few of the many features it boasts of.  Although the Sharp trim does not have a panoramic sunroof or a high-end sound system, it does pack all the essentials. Also, if you want 4WD and 6-seater options, you will have to go for the higher-spec Savvy.

While prices of the MG Majestor will be revealed in April 2026, pre-bookings are open at Rs 41,000. The Majestor is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 40 lakh to Rs 45 lakh and will lock horns with the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Jeep Meridian, Skoda Kodiaq and the upcoming Volkswagen Tayron.
