Tata Motors has launched the Curvv EV in India as its flagship electric offering in the country, with prices ranging between Rs 17.49 lakh and Rs 21.99 lakh. The Curvv EV is Tata’s fifth EV offering in India, and is available in five trim levels: Creative, Accomplished, Accomplished+ S, Empowered+ and Empowered+ A. Here, we take a close look at what features and powertrain options you get with each trim.

Tata Curvv EV variants explained

The Curvv EV is available with two battery pack options. The 45kWh unit is offered with the Creative, Accomplished and Accomplished+ S variants and has an MIDC-certified range of 502km. The larger 55kWh unit, available with the Accomplished, Accomplished+ S, Empowered+, and Empowered+ A variants, gets an MIDC range of 585km. Moreover, the bigger battery variants get a 167hp electric motor, while the 45kWh ones get a 150hp motor. Here’s a look at the variant split of the new Curvv EV.

For now, the Curvv EV only takes on the MG ZS EV (Rs 18.98 lakh-25.44 lakh) directly. However, prices do overlap with the Nexon EV (Rs 14.49 lakh-19.49 lakh) and the Mahindra XUV400 (Rs 15.49 lakh-17.69 lakh).
