MG Starlight 560 FAQs

MG's Starlight 560-derived SUV is expected to be offered in both PHEV and EV avatars, and like other MG cars, it is expected to have a competitive price. While the Mahindra and Tata rivals, including the XUV 7XO, XEV 9S and Safari, are strong choices, the MG Starlight 560 appears to be a compelling choice on paper. So, if you are in no hurry to get an SUV, waiting for the upcoming MG SUV could give you more headroom for making an informed decision. 

MG is yet to reveal the Starlight 560's price in India. However, like the other MG offerings, the Starlight 560 could have very competitive pricing. This could make the PHEV version a potential rival to the Mahindra XUV 7XO and Tata Safari, while the EV version could rival the Mahindra XEV 9S. So, the MG Starlight price in India could be similar to these rivals. 

In the international markets, the MG Starlight 560 SUV is offered with either 5 seats or 7 seats. In India, however, MG is yet to reveal the seating configuration. However, do note that the distinct seating configurations do not result in a different wheelbase, which is 2810mm.
