As the flagship sedan from Mercedes-Benz for the past five decades or so, the S-Class has always set a high standard for luxury, technology and safety. With this facelift, the German carmaker is set to further enhance the nameplateโs reputation in the full-size luxury sedan segment. The S-Class facelift will rival the BMW 7-Series in India. The expected price of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class facelift ranges between Rs 2.00 crore and Rs 4.00 crore (ex-showroom).
A 3.0-litre inline-six petrol engine will be available with a 9-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox, at least in the entry-level variants. Some of the key features that buyers can expect are a panoramic sunroof, four-zone automatic climate control, Mercedes-Benz Operating System, multi-stage massaging seats with heating & cooling functions, a rear-seat entertainment system, an augmented-reality head-up display and advanced driver assistance systems, among others.
