Mahindra Thar Roxx

The Mahindra Thar Roxx price in India starts from ₹12.25 lakh , and rises to ₹22.06 lakh  (ex-showroom), with 18 variants are on offer. The Thar Roxx 5 door is one of the most popular cars in India, sold by Mahindra. Other Mahindra SUV models include the Scorpio Classic, Scorpio N and XUV700.

The Thar Roxx mileage is 15.2 kmpl. The SUV is sold with petrol and diesel engine options. The Thar Roxx engine cc of the petrol version is 1998cc, while the diesel version has a 2198cc engine. The Thar Roxx 2-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engines come with their respective Manual, Torque Converter Auto. 

Manual Thar Roxx petrol variants make 162hp and 330Nm, while the automatic variants bump up the output to 177hp and 380Nm. RWD manual and automatic diesel variants generate 152hp and 330Nm. Thar Roxx 4x4, however, makes higher 175hp and 370Nm, and can be had with Manual, Torque Converter Auto.

Mahindra has given the Thar Roxx a new double-stacked six-slot design, instead of the seven-slot one seen on the Thar 3 door. The circular headlamps are carried over, but they get upgrades like LED projector lamps and DRLs. The cabin has also been renewed with more soft-touch materials, along with a new steering wheel and a revised centre console. Thar Roxx features include a 10.25-inch driver’s display, 10.25-inch touchscreen, rear AC vents, a panoramic sunroof and a Level 2 ADAS. Talking about Thar Roxx safety rating, it received 5 stars from the Bharat NCAP in November 2024.

Thar Roxx Safety Rating

The Thar Roxx safety rating was announced in November 2024. At the Bharat NCAP, the Thar Roxx safety rating comprised 5 stars. As standard, the Thar 5 door comes equipped with 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts with reminders for all passengers, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ISOFIX anchors for rear outboard seats and a passenger-side airbag cut-off switch.
