Trending Questions on Honda Elevate - Answered by Autocar Experts
Hello Team Autocar, I am planning to upgrade from my 2018 Honda Amaze. My monthly running is around 500 km, mostly within the city. I am looking for a mid-size SUV that is enjoyable to drive in the city and comfortable for occasional long trips, with a good cabin feel. My budget is between ₹13-16 lakh. I have shortlisted the Brezza but am exploring alternatives.
Hello, I'm a Honda fanboy and looking to buy a new vehicle in 2026. Inclined towards a subcompact SUV. Will Honda launch the WRV? I have checked the Elevate and really liked it. But the automatic variant is above my budget. My regular usage will be on the highway, going to my hometown and back. Plus, once or twice a month 200 km one-sided and basic city runs on the weekends.
I need a car for my family under 15 lakhs. My height is 6 ft, so smaller cars are uncomfortable for me. I would like to go for a safe & reliable car. My running is under 500km monthly, with 80% city and 20% highway. I'm okay with a pre-owned car/SUV as well. Thanks!
I'm looking to buy my first car. Although I have good experience in driving cars, this will be my first own car. We are a family of 4 + 1 kid living in Kolkata and have a relocatable job (mostly in tier 1/2 cities). I'm looking for a long-term car (5+ years). Monthly, I need to drive ~500kms and 3/4 long drives in a year. Preferably automatic, as monthly 500kms are inside the city. Had evaluated Kylaq, Elevate, 3X0 and Brezza. Now with the Sierra and MG Hector 2026 models, I'm completely lost. Suggest
I want to buy my first car within a budget of ₹15 lakh. I’m considering the Honda Elevate CVT based on reliability. How is it, and is there any better option that is good in all aspects?
Yes, the Honda Elevate CVT will be a reliable option, and the SUV also delivers a good driving experience with a well-sorted ride and handling balance and a spacious interior. However, refinement is not good, and the engine does sound very strained when pushed a bit for performance.
You could thus also consider the Hyundai Creta iVT (CVT), which is a very good all-rounder, spacious and comfy and very refined to drive. Its engine and gearbox combination is working very well to deliver good performance and refinement.
I am looking for a reliable car under ₹16 lakh (on-road) for long-term use (10 to 12 years). My monthly running is 2000 km, primarily on highways. Which car should I go for?
I am confused between the Honda Amaze ZX CVT, Honda Elevate ZX CVT, and Hyundai Venue HX10 AT. My main concerns are safety, ease and smoothness of driving, and reliability. I mostly drive in the city with an occasional highway trip once a month or so for vacations. Please suggest a good car among the ones I have listed. Thanks!
The Honda Amaze is a compact sedan, the Honda Elevate is an SUV, and the Hyundai Verna is a mid-size sedan. So, they are quite different in terms of body style and their usage.
The Honda Amaze suits buyers on a tighter budget, and since you’ve shortlisted the Elevate and Verna, we assume your budget is higher and around Rs 20 lakh.
The Hyundai Verna is a well-equipped sedan and works well for city driving. That said, we also suggest you look closely at Elevate. SUVs are generally more comfortable and confidence-inspiring on highways.
The Honda Elevate 1.5-litre engine paired with the CVT gearbox feels smooth and responsive in everyday city use as well. It also offers a large boot, which is handy for weekend trips and vacation luggage
My 2019 i20 is with my parents, and I am looking for a new car. My weekly running is around 30-40 km with occasional long highway drives, and sometimes I think about taking it to the mountains. I have test-driven the Škoda Kushaq, Slavia, and Honda Elevate, but am not able to decide. My budget can stretch up to ₹18 lakh - please suggest which car I should go for.
We suggest you wait for the new Skoda Kushaq, which will be launched next month. It has more features and is great on the highway and twisty roads.
Your budget may limit you to the 1.0 TSI engine, but that’s a really punchy engine mated to a smooth 6-speed automatic box. The Honda Elevate works well as a city car, but it's nowhere near as good as a Kushaq or even a Skoda Slavia on a twisty road.
I have been driving a Santro for 24 years, and it is still running well. I now plan to change to a 1.5-litre car, either a sedan or an SUV. I am considering the Grand Vitara Strong Hybrid Alpha Plus, Honda Elevate ZX, and Creta SX. My usage will be daily solo driving and 2–3 long drives with my family of five. Comfort with family on long trips is a priority, and low running cost and maintainability are important for daily use. Above all, good looks matter. Please suggest the best choice among these.
According to your requirement and among the options you have selected, we would suggest you to go for the Hyundai Creta SX. It scores well above the other options because of the space that it offers.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara's second row is good for 2, and a squeeze for 3. Honda Elevate's central console protrudes prominently in the second row, compromising rear passenger space.
The Hyundai Creta looks good, is feature-rich, and delivers a comfortable experience for family use, both in city driving and on long journeys. You are familiar with Hyundai’s ecosystem, adding to the ease of ownership.
