Tata Curvv EV waiting period

The Curvv EV coupe-SUV recently went on sale, and dealers tell us that first customer deliveries will begin from tomorrow, August 22. This is Tata Motors' third electric SUV in our market, and it competes with models like the MG ZS EV and the Mahindra XUV400 EV.

  2. 55kwh variants have six week waiting
  3. Virtual Sunrise, Pure Grey popular colour choices

Tata Curvv: variant-wise waiting periods

Dealer sources tell us that most outlets are witnessing decent customer footfalls for the Curvv EV, and many outlets we spoke to have already gathered bookings in three digits so far. Currently, most units being delivered to dealers are the top-spec variants, which will be the ones delivered to customers initially.

The Curvv EV comes with 45kWh and 55kWh battery pack options, and dealers tell us that both variants are being received well by the buyers. Dealer sources say that all 45kWh variants have an average waiting period of 8 weeks at most locations while all the 55kWh variants have an average waiting period of 6 weeks. Additionally, the most popular colour options include Virtual Sunrise and Pure Grey.

Tata Curvv: what are dealers saying?

Dealers tell us that customers like the fresh exterior looks of the Curvv EV over the Nexon EV and also the unique coupe SUV design. The interior, especially the dashboard, is quite similar for both SUVs, but the Curvv EV’s rear passenger area and cargo space is more than the Nexon and is one of the major draws despite of the Curvv's higher price positioning than the Nexon EV.

The Curvv EV is priced between Rs 17.49 lakh and Rs 21.99 lakh. It competes directly with the MG ZS EV, which ranges from Rs 18.98 lakh to Rs 25.44 lakh.
