Suzuki Jimny Heritage: what does it get?

To commemorate the Jimny’s off-road legacy from the 1970s, '80s and '90s, Suzuki Australia has given the Jimny Heritage edition special retro-themed graphics with Orange and Red stripes on the sides and rear. It also gets a Jimny Heritage decal on the rear fenders along with the retro graphics. Furthermore, the Jimny also gets Red mud flaps with a Suzuki logo in White. The Heritage edition is available in only four colours – White, Jungle Green, Bluish Black Pearl and Medium Grey.

    Suzuki Jimny Heritage: features

The Jimny Heritage gets the same features as the regular Jimny. It has LED projector headlamps, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a reverse camera, climate control and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Suzuki Jimny Heritage: no mechanical changes

Suzuki hasn’t made any mechanical changes to the Jimny Heritage. It continues with the 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine producing 105hp and 134Nm of torque. Suzuki mentions the Heritage edition will only come with a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, the regular version still gets an option for a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The Heritage edition also gets Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro four-wheel drive system.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny: expected price, launch timeline, rivals

Maruti Suzuki unveiled the 5-door Jimny at Auto Expo 2023 on January 12 and is expected to price it around Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). The off-road SUV is expected to have its price announcement in May and it has already gathered more than 15,000 bookings. It will be retailed through Maruti’s Nexa dealerships and will be available in a total of four variants.

The 5-door Jimny, when launched, will have no direct rivals, but will compete with the upcoming 5-door versions of the Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha

Suzuki Jimny Heritage as see it and as presented herein; that is great off roader of medium SUV from Maruti. I wish I could have one to battle with on most of our off roads right here.
