The interior of the upcoming Skoda Slavia facelift has been spied, giving a glimpse of the midsize sedan’s dashboard, specifically the touchscreen infotainment system and the steering wheel design. The Slavia facelift is expected to debut in India by late 2026.

  1. It may get a larger digital driver’s display, like the one in the Kushaq
  2. The 1.0-litre TSI engine could get a new 8-speed AT option

Skoda Slavia facelift interior spied: What was seen?

The dashboard looks similar to that of the current Slavia

The upcoming Slavia facelift’s touchscreen infotainment system and steering wheel, as seen in the spy shot, look very similar to those of the current model. For context, the pre-facelift Slavia gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a two-spoke steering wheel with silver scroll wheels for music settings and cruise control.

What could change, however, is the interior theme and the seat upholstery. It will be interesting to see whether Skoda adds a rear-seat massage function, as this was introduced to the Kushaq with its facelift in January 2026.

Other new features likely to be a part of the facelifted Slavia include a larger 10.25-inch digital driver’s display from the Kushaq and front parking sensors. A single-pane sunroof, a wireless phone charger, an 8-speaker sound system, automatic climate control with rear vents, 6 airbags as standard and a tyre-pressure monitoring system are expected to be carried over.

Skoda Slavia facelift: Other things to know

New lighting elements and redesigned bumpers expected

Previous test mules of the Skoda Slavia have revealed new LED lighting elements in the headlights and a fresh tail-light design. A grille akin to the one in the Kushaq and Kodiaq, with embedded lighting elements, is also expected, along with thoroughly revised bumpers. A fresher set of alloy wheels is likely as well.

Engine options will likely be the same, but expect a new 8-speed AT

The Slavia facelift is likely to retain the current model’s engine options: a 115hp 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 150hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol. While the smaller mill is currently available with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed AT, the latter is expected to be replaced by the new 8-speed torque-converter unit that debuted with the Kushaq. The larger engine, however, will continue to be offered with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).

With the facelift, prices of the Slavia are expected to increase from the current range of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom). The Slavia facelift will continue to rival the Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna and Honda City

What do you think about E85 fuel’s Rs 82.12/litre price in India?

Good - Rs 20/litre cheaper than E20 is a big advantage
Bad - it should have been priced even lower
Doesn’t matter - there aren’t enough E85-compatible vehicles yet
