Skoda has just updated the Kodiaq SUV and Superb sedan’s line-up, with the addition of an automatic Corporate Edition variant. The Kodiaq Corporate Edition has been launched at Rs 32.99 lakh, while the Superb Corporate Edition is priced at 25.99 lakh for the petrol-automatic and Rs 28.49 lakh for the diesel-automatic version.

It is worth noting that the Superb Corporate Edition was launched earlier this year, though it was only available with the 1.8-litre turbo-petrol engine and 6-speed manual gearbox combination. In addition, the Corporate Edition is no longer restricted to existing Skoda owners, as anyone can now purchase this variant.

The Kodiaq and the Superb Corporate Editions both come with a dual-clutch automatic gearbox – in the Kodiaq, it is a 7-speed unit is mated to a 150hp, 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine. In the Superb, the 180hp, 1.8-litre TSI petrol engine comes paired to a 7-speed DSG automatic, while the 177hp, 2.0-litre TDI diesel motor gets a 6-speed gearbox.

In terms of equipment, both cars get the same features as their respective Style variants, which includes three-zone climate control, a power adjustable driver seat with memory function and an 8.0-inch infotainment system with Mirror Link, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, to name a few. Safety features like ESC and multiple airbags (9 in the Kodiaq and 8 in the Superb) are also a part of the package.

The Czech carmaker has priced the Kodiaq Corporate Edition Rs 2.38 lakh less than the base Style variant (priced at Rs 35.36 lakh). The Superb Corporate Edition is priced Rs 1.80 lakh lower than the Style variant – the petrol-automatic Style costs Rs 27.79 lakh, while the diesel-automatic Superb Style retails at Rs 30.29 lakh. We had also previously reported that Skoda is offering special discounts for the festive season on select models across its range. These special discounts have brought the price of the Style variants of the Kodiaq and Superb, down to match the Corporate Edition’s prices.
