Skoda Kodiaq Style now cheaper by Rs 2.38 lakh

Skoda India has officially reduced prices of a number of models to boost sales during the festive season. The brand’s flagship SUV, the Kodiaq, now starts at Rs 32.99 lakh, marking a discounted rate of Rs 2.38 lakh on the base Style variant. The higher L&K trim’s pricing remains unchanged at Rs 36.78 lakh.

Dealer sources have revealed that the base Style trim with its revised price point will be called the Corporate Edition. Unlike other Corporate Edition models launched by Skoda, the discount will be available to all buyers; not just existing Skoda owners.

The Kodiaq is available in two trim levels – Style and L&K – and can be had with a single 150hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine option paired with a 7-speed, dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

Skoda is also offering discounted prices on select variants of the Rapid and Superb.

For the Rapid, the top-spec (Style) petrol-manual and the mid-spec (Ambition) diesel-manual variants are now priced Rs 1.16 lakh and Rs 1.3 lakh lower, respectively. Interestingly, this discount makes the Ambition diesel more affordable than the base Rapid Active trim.

For the Superb, Skoda has priced the base petrol-automatic Style trim at Rs 25.99 lakh. This means that the starting price of the variant is down by Rs 1.80 lakh – on par with the sole petrol-manual variant on offer. The diesel Superb Style is now priced at Rs 28.49 lakh instead of the original Rs 30.29 lakh price point.

No discounts will be offered on the Skoda Octavia this festive season.
