New Audi RS7 Sportback bookings open ahead of July launch

Audi India has opened the order books for the new RS7 Sportback, with the booking amount set at Rs 10 lakh. Now into its second-generation, the new RS7 will be Audi India’s third new launch of 2020 and the fourth model in a revamped line-up that includes the A6 sedan, A8 limousine and Q8 SUV.

Where can you book the RS7 Sportback?

Buyers interested in booking the new RS7 Sportback can do so at their nearest Audi dealership or via the Audi India website. Customers booking the vehicle online can take a closer look at the model via a 360-degree visualiser and augmented reality. As with its predecessor, the new RS7 Sportback will also be a fully-imported model, with Audi set to offer a high degree of customisation options to prospective owners.

What about the launch and deliveries?

Audi is set to reveal prices for the second-gen high-performance four-door coupe in July. Deliveries of the RS7 Sportback meanwhile will begin from August 2020. Expect prices to be upwards of Rs 1.7 crore (ex-showroom).

A look at the RS7 Sportback

Powering the second-gen RS7 Sportback is a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The unit develops an impressive 600hp and 800Nm of torque – the old RS7 made 560hp (605hp in the Competition) and 700Nm of torque in comparison. The unit is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
