New Audi Q5L unveiled

Audi has revealed the Q5L at the Beijing auto show and the SUV now comes with 110mm more rear legroom then the standard Q5; it is also 88mm longer in length.

The boot capacity in the brand’s first long-wheelbase SUV remains unchanged at 55 litres with the backseat up, or 1,550 litres with them folded down. Audi has launched the long-wheelbase Q5 to appeal to China’s unique demand for models with more space for rear passengers.

Power is provided by a turbocharged 2.0-litre, four-cylinder TFSI engine producing 190hp or 252hp, and going  0-100kph in sprint times of 8.6sec and 6.7sec, respectively.

Audi will produce its Q5L in Changchun, China, as part of the FAW-VW joint venture of its parent company, the Volkswagen Group.
