Mahindra XUV400 EV gets whopping Rs 3.5 lakh cash discount

    Popular models like the Mahindra XUV700, Thar and Scorpio-N do not get discounts this month.

    Mahindra dealers are offering massive discounts on its SUVs in November, especially on models like the XUV400 EV, the XUV300 and Bolero Neo compact SUVs, the Marazzo MPV and the Bolero SUV. The discounts come in the form of cash benefits and official accessories.

    Mahindra XUV400

    Benefits of up to Rs 3.5 lakh

    Buyers of Mahindra’s only all-electric offering can avail cash discounts of up to Rs 3.5 lakh on the top-spec EL variant, up to Rs 3 lakh on the EL variant with ESC and up to Rs 1.5 lakh on the lower-spec EC trim this month. The EL gets a larger 39.4kWh battery (456km of claimed range) and 7.2kW charging capability, while the latter comes with a 34.5kWh pack (375km of range) and a 3.2kW charger. Both versions of the Mahindra XUV400 are propelled by a 150hp electric motor that drives the front wheels. Considering the Rs 1.5 lakh discount on the EC trim, the base price for the XUV400 will undercut the entry-level Tata Nexon EV Creative+ (MR), which is priced at Rs 14.74 lakh, ex-showroom.

    Mahindra XUV300

    Benefits of up to Rs 1.2 lakh

    The Mahindra XUV300 can be had with maximum benefits of Rs 1.2 lakh, comprising a cash component of Rs 95,000 and genuine Mahindra accessories worth Rs 25,000. However, only the top-spec W8 variant can be availed with this discount. The W6 variant is also offered with benefits up to Rs 80,000, which includes a cash discount of Rs 55,000 and accessories worth 25,000. The XUV300 is one of the few cars in India to come with two petrol engine options – a 110hp and a 131hp – and a 117hp diesel option. The 110hp petrol and the diesel comes with 6-speed manual and AMT gearbox options, while the 131hp model is only offered with a manual. However, there is an automatic on the way.

    Mahindra Marazzo

    Benefits of up to Rs 73,300

    Mahindra’s MPV can be bought with cash discounts of up to Rs 58,300 and genuine accessories worth Rs 15,000. These benefits are available across the Marazzo range, from the base M2 variant to the top-spec M6+ trim. The seven-seater is powered by a sole 123hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine that comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

    Mahindra Bolero

    Benefits of up to Rs 70,000

    The venerable Mahindra Bolero can be bought with benefits up to Rs 70,000 in November 2023. The B4 trim gets Rs 50,000 off its sticker price (including Rs 20,000 worth of accessories), while the B6 and B6 Optional trims get Rs 35,000 and Rs 70,000 off, respectively. The Bolero remains a reliable and hardy workhorse that’s powered by a 75hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine that’s paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

    Mahindra Bolero Neo

    Benefits of up to Rs 50,000

    Mahindra’s Bolero Neo is a ladder-frame, rear-wheel-drive, compact SUV that uniquely comes with seating for seven. It is powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine that is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox and produces 100hp and 260Nm of torque. Customers can avail of benefits in the range of Rs 50,000 for the top-spec N10 and N10 Opt variants, while the lower N8 and N4 variants have discounts up to Rs 31,000 and 25,000, respectively. These benefits include accessories worth Rs 20,000.
