For April 2019, Mahindra dealerships have started offering discounts on select models. The benefits are being offered in order to clear existing stock and boost sales of lower selling models. All models from Mahindra’s portfolio apart from the Alturas G4, Marazzo, XUV300 and Thar are being offered with benefits. Here’s a list of the Mahindra cars you can buy with a cash discount this month.

MAHINDRA KUV100 NXT

Save up to Rs 45,000
The brand's entry-level offering in India, the Mahindra KUV100 NXT rivals the likes of the Ford Freestyle and the Maruti Suzuki Ignis. It is powered by an 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol and a 78hp, 1.2-litre diesel engines, both of which send power to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox.  Currently, Mahindra dealers are offering the KUV100 NXT with a cash discount of Rs 30,000. The KUV100 Trip variant, which is targeted at fleet operators and comes with a petrol-CNG option too, has a larger Rs 45,000 cash discount.

MAHINDRA SCORPIO

Save up to Rs 40,000
The Mahindra Scorpio has been around for a long time and thanks to newer competitors, sales of the SUV have been plummeting. Hence, Mahindra dealers are offering the S5 variant of the Scorpio with Rs 40,000 cash discount, while the higher S9 and S11 trims get a lower Rs 20,000 cash discount. The Scorpio comes with two diesel engines – a 2.5-litre motor that comes with a 5-speed manual transmission only and a 2.2-litre unit that can be had with a 5-speed or 6-speed manual gearbox.

MAHINDRA TUV300, TUV300 PLUS

Save up to Rs 35,000
With the carmaker having four models in the sub-compact SUV segment, Mahindra TUV300 sales have taken a hit. Powered by a 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine, the TUV300 can be had with a cash discount of Rs 25,000. Additionally, the nine-seater TUV300 Plus is also being offered with a larger Rs 35,000 cash discount. The Plus is powered by a 120hp, 2.2-litre diesel engine that comes coupled with a 6-speed manual gearbox only. Mahindra will launch a TUV300 facelift in the coming months, which will possess a fresh exterior design and more kit like a touchscreen infotainment screen

MAHINDRA XYLO

Save up to Rs 35,000
The Mahindra Xylo is an MPV with a spacious and comfortable cabin, strong engines and an affordable price tag. Powering the Xylo are 93hp, 2.5-litre and 119hp, 2.2-litre diesel engines, both of which come with a 5-speed manual gearbox only. Dealers are currently offering all variants of the Xylo with a Rs 35,000 cash discount.

MAHINDRA NUVOSPORT

Save up to Rs 30,000
Much like the TUV300, sales of the Mahindra Nuvosport compact SUV have taken a dip following the introduction of the Mahindra XUV300. The NuvoSport rivals the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and is powered by a 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine that comes with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. In a bid to boost sales, the NuvoSport is being offered with a cash discount of Rs 30,000.

MAHINDRA XUV500

Save up to Rs 27,500
The Mahindra XUV500 is a seven-seater SUV that comes with a long list of features and a spacious cabin. This ageing SUV will be replaced by a brand-new model which is currently being co-developed by Mahindra and Ford. The XUV500 is powered by either a 155hp, 2.2-litre diesel motor or a 140hp, 2.2-litre petrol engine and rivals the Tata Hexa. Dealerships are presently selling the Mahindra XUV500 with a cash discount of Rs 27,500.

MAHINDRA VERITO VIBE

Save up to Rs 20,000
Essentially a shortened version of the Verito sedan, the Mahindra Verito Vibe was the brand's first attempt at a hatchback. However, the model failed to gain traction in the tightly-contested hatchback segment. The Vibe is powered by a 65hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine and gets a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. Mahindra has decided to discontinue the Verito Vibe and hence dealers are looking to clear stock. Presently, you can buy a Verito Vibe with a cash discount of Rs 20,000.

MAHINDRA BOLERO, BOLERO PLUS, BOLERO POWER PLUS

Save up to Rs 15,000
The utilitarian Mahindra Bolero rivals the Tata Sumo Grande and is a popular choice amongst buyers in the rural areas. The SUV is powered by a 63hp, 2.5-litre diesel engine coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox. While the standard Bolero is a seven-seater, the larger ‘Bolero Plus’ model is a nine-seater. However, the Mahindra Bolero Power Plus is a sub-compact SUV powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine that puts out 71hp and 195Nm of torque. Currently, dealers are offering a cash discount worth Rs 15,000 on all variants of Mahindra's Bolero range. By October 2019, Mahindra will significantly update the Bolero to meet safety and crash-test norms, and will roll out upgraded engines which will adhere to stricter emission norms by April 2020.
