Discounts of up to Rs 55,000 on Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Ignis and Baleno this month

The brand is not offering any discounts on the XL6 and the Grand Vitara SUV.

Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts for select Nexa line-up models for the month of December. Interested customers can avail of exchange offers, cash discounts, and corporate benefits on the Ignis, Ciaz and the Baleno.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 

Benefits of up to Rs 55,000

Maruti is offering a total discount of Rs 55,000 on its long-standing Ciaz midsize sedan. For the manual version, customers can avail cash discounts worth Rs 25,000, exchange offers worth Rs 25,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000. Meanwhile, automatic version of the midsize sedan get a total discount of Rs 45,000, which includes cash discounts worth Rs 15,000, exchange offers worth Rs 25,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000.

The Ciaz is powered by a 105hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine that is paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic. When it comes to rivals, the Ciaz also takes on other midsize sedans like the Honda City, Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus and the Hyundai Verna.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis 

Benefits of up to Rs 55,000

The Ignis is currently the most affordable car in Maruti Suzuki’s Nexa line-up and is being offered with a total discount of up to Rs 55,000. This includes a cash discount worth Rs 35,000, an exchange offer worth Rs 15,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000 on the manual variants of the Ignis.

Meanwhile, AMT versions of the high-riding hatchback get a total discount of Rs 20,000, which includes exchange offers worth Rs 15,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000. The quirkily styled Ignis is powered by a sole 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine paired either to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. 

Maruti Suzuki Baleno

Benefits of up to Rs 20,000

The premium hatchback from Maruti Suzuki gets a total discount of Rs 20,000 on the manual petrol and Delta CNG variants. This includes cash discounts and exchange offers worth Rs 10,000, each. Meanwhile, the Zeta CNG variant of the Baleno gets a total discount of Rs 10,000.

Launched earlier this year, the new Baleno is powered by a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT and takes on other premium hatchbacks like the Tata Altroz, Hyundai i20 and the Toyota Glanza.

Maruti Suzuki: upcoming plans

The carmaker recently introduced the CNG version of the XL6 and is gearing up to introduce the Grand Vitara CNG. Maruti Suzuki is also working on the all-new Baleno Cross and the highly anticipated five-door Jimny SUV. Both, the Baleno Cross and the five-door Jimny SUV will see a global debut at Auto Expo 2023 in January.
