BMW India has brought back the X6 coupe-SUV at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.78 crore. The model is only available in M60i xDrive guise, and is sold via the CBU route. 

  1. Powered by a 530hp, 750Nm 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine.
  2. Does a 0-100kph sprint in 4.3 seconds (claimed).

Powering the BMW X6 is a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine with 48V mild-hybrid assist producing 530hp and 750Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Additionally, there's rear-wheel steering, adaptive suspension, a limited-slip differential, and a rear-biased xDrive AWD system. BMW claims a 0-100kph sprint in 4.3 seconds, and it can reach speeds of up to 250kph. The X6 M60i's power figures make it the most powerful SUV in its segment.

The X6 retains its distinctive coupe-SUV silhouette with a muscular look overall. The aggressive front-end gets adaptive LED headlamps, a blacked-out kidney grille, a dual-tone bumper with wide air intakes and air vents on the sides. In profile, the X6 is characterised by a sloping roofline that neatly blends into the upright boot, M60i badging on the front fenders, 21-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, M-branded red brake callipers and a black finish for the ORVMs.

Flared wheel arches and muscular rear haunches lend it an imposing stance. At the rear, there are sleek wrap-around LED tail-lamps, fog lamps, a sculpted dual-tone bumper, quad exhaust tips, and M60i badging on the tailgate. The X6 is 4,960mm long, 2,004mm wide, 1,700mm tall and has a 2,975mm wheelbase. It rides 216mm from the ground and has a 580-litre boot capacity.
