2025 has been a year of major launches for Hyundai, where it introduced models like the Creta Electric, Alcazar facelift, and the new-generation Venue. The Korean manufacturer is expected to continue this run in 2026 as well, where it is expected to introduce mid-life updates to three of its models, alongside the debut of a globally available product. Here’s the list of all the upcoming Hyundai cars that are expected to be offered in India in 2026:

Hyundai Verna facelift

Launch: Q2 2026; Price: Rs 11-18 lakh; Engine: 1.5-litre petrol

A heavily camouflaged version of the Hyundai Verna has been spotted testing, with a launch expected early next year. Spy images show that the sedan will receive freshened-up front and rear fascias, possibly inspired by Hyundai’s global offerings like the Sonata. Inside, it is set to get a new curved display housing the infotainment and digital driver’s display – similar to the unit seen in the new Venue. The 1.5-litre NA and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines, along with their respective transmissions, are expected to continue unchanged.

Hyundai Exter facelift

Launch: Q2 2026; Price: Rs 6-9 lakh; Engine: 1.2-litre petrol

Current car used for repreentation purpose only

The updated Hyundai Exter is set to receive a redesigned interior featuring a 12.9-inch touchscreen and a 9.9-inch digital instrument display. The screens will run the latest Android Automotive Operating System (AAOS), making it the first mass-market vehicle to use Google’s software. Styling-wise, it is expected to sport changes to its soft parts, aligning it with newer models like the Venue, but powertrains will likely continue unchanged.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift

Launch: Q2 2026; Price: Rs 50 lakh; Battery: 63-84kWh

The facelifted Ioniq 5 gets subtle tweaks on the outside, including a new grille, reshaped bumpers and new wheels. Inside, it gets more physical buttons for frequently used functions and a new three-spoke steering. Battery sizes are up, too. The standard-range version gets a 63kWh pack powering a rear motor, while the all-wheel-drive uses an 84kWh unit. The 84kWh unit also comes in a long-range RWD model – the one most likely for India – with a 570km WLTP range.

Hyundai Bayon

Launch: Q3 2026; Price: Rs 8-15 lakh; Engine: 1.2-litre petrol

Hyundai is readying a Maruti Fronx rival, and it’s likely to be the Bayon. It will be powered by a new 1.2-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that is said to be more torquey than the 1.0-litre, more efficient than the 1.5-litre and is hybrid-ready. Styling has hints of the Verna but with a lifted hatchback stance, while the cabin is also largely familiar.
