As of January 2026, there are 13 TVS bikes for sale in India. Presently, there are no TVS electric bikes in production and on sale. 

 

In the petrol category, the TVS scooty price starts at ₹70.60 thousand for the TVS Zest 110, which is the TVS cheapest scooty, and goes up to ₹1.18 lakh for the TVS Ntorq 150. In the electric category, the most affordable TVS scooty is the TVS Orbiter, priced at ₹1.05 lakh, while the most expensive is the TVS X, priced at ₹2.64 lakh. As of January 2026, there are 8 TVS scooters for sale in India.

I am planning to upgrade from my current bike, on which I have clocked over 1 lakh kilometres. I have been considering the TVS Apache RTX 300 for a long time, but after a recent transfer to Mumbai, I am unsure if it would be suitable as a daily commuter, especially given its wider stance. My daily commute is around 30km in city traffic, along with a monthly 100-200km ride. I am looking for a reliable, low-maintenance motorcycle. I would also like to know Rishaad’s view on choosing between the Xpulse and the RTX for daily commuting, as he can relate to these concerns.

Both bikes have their pros and cons when it comes to city usage. The Hero Xpulse 210 is slimmer and more manageable, but throws quite a bit of noticeable heat on the left side of your leg. If you’re comfortable with the size of the TVS Apache RTX 300, that’s the one we’d recommend of the two.
However, in both cases, it’s too early to comment on reliability, and there are complaints online with the Xpulse, although our long-term test bike has not faced any issues in the 3,000km we’ve run it yet. Overall, the RTX will feel like a more premium, better-made bike that gives you a lot more for your money. You’ll also have the peace of mind of tubeless tyres.
On the flip side, the Xpulse has a lightweight and fun character that you will especially enjoy if a bit of off-road riding forms a part of your usage. It would be best to take test rides of both and hold off on your purchase for about six months to see how the reliability situation plays out. I am looking to buy an electric scooter. My average daily commute is around 10km. Which EV scooter would be the most suitable for my usage?

Since you have a rather short daily commute, we would recommend you go with the base versions of the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak or Ather Rizta. You can even consider the TVS Orbiter, although it is a step down in performance and features compared to its sibling, the iQube, but it offers a slightly more spacious rider's triangle and, importantly, more range thanks to its larger 3.1kWh battery.
A visit to your nearest authorised dealerships for all four regarding aftersales service and a test ride will help you decide which scooter is the best fit for you.

I bought a Honda SP in August 2024 and have ridden it for around 5,800km. However, I am not satisfied with its power and pickup, especially compared to my older CB Shine, which I still there. While purchasing the SP, I had considered the TVS Raider, Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Yamaha FZ and TVS Ronin. However, I selected the wrong model, and now I want to buy the Hunter 350 or TVS Raider or Yamaha FZ. I am now looking for a bike that offers better looks, power, pickup and road presence, and am confused between the Hunter and the other options, as Hunter offers more status. I am also considering selling my current bike, which is in mint condition with all free services completed. Please advise on the best course of action and what would be a reasonable resale price.

Since you have mentioned you want more performance than your current bike, you should look at the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and TVS Ronin, as the Yamaha FZ will only offer you a very small step up in terms of sheer speed, although it will offer you vastly more fuel efficiency in the process.
Take a test ride of the Hunter and Ronin before you decide to go ahead with your purchase.
Coming to what price you should sell your bike for, there are a lot of regional factors that come into play, as well as the market rate of your machine. We would recommend speaking to a pre-owned bike dealer in addition to putting some feelers out in the market in your individual capacity to get an accurate picture.

I previously owned a Hero Karizma R and later switched to a Honda Shine 125. I am now considering buying a cruiser-style motorcycle. I am 5’4” tall, and my riding is mostly bumper-to-bumper city traffic. Please suggest suitable options that I should test ride.

Since you have mentioned you want a cruiser style bike to ride in the city and keeping your stature in mind, your choices boil down to the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and its sibling, the Goan Classic 350.
Both of these Royal Enfield bikes have low seat heights, which should help you plant your feet on the ground and aid confidence when negotiating stop-and-go traffic. Do bear in mind that these bikes with their feet forward and relaxed riding positions will put a lot of weight on your tailbone and transfer road bumps to your spine, so its worth taking a test ride to see whether or not you can live with this sort of position daily.
If you want a lighter bike, then the TVS Ronin is a good option, although its seat height is a fair deal taller than the two RE 350s. Provided you have the confidence to manage a bike on your tiptoes, you can consider the TVS bike.

I currently ride a Bajaj Discover 125 and am now looking to upgrade to a 150cc motorcycle that is cost-effective and offers good fuel efficiency. My daily commute is around 35-40km. Please advise.

In the 150-160cc commuter space, the most affordable option currently is the Hero Xtreme 160R, priced at Rs 1.05 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Bikes like the base Yamaha FZ, Honda Unicorn and lower variants of the Bajaj Pulsar N160 and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V are available for roughly Rs 10,000-12,000 more.
All of these bikes are quite fuel-efficient and can return upwards of 45-50kpl, if ridden sensibly. We'd recommend a test ride of these bikes to see which one suits you best.

I am considering buying either a Triumph, a Harley-Davidson, or the TVS Apache 310 for city riding and occasional highway use. Engine capacity is not a concern, but I would like advice specifically on ownership costs and maintenance.

On the ownership and maintenance cost front, the TVS Apache RTR 310, Harley-Davidson X440, and Triumph 400s should be more or less on par, unless major wear and tear parts like a chain-sprocket set are to be replaced.
We would recommend you reach out to your nearest authorised dealer for each brand and speak to them for a more accurate picture.

I currently own a 2009 Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 and am looking to upgrade. I am unsure about the Super Meteor 650 due to its stiff suspension, low mileage and my past experience with Royal Enfield. I frequently ride with a pillion on long journeys across rural India and value comfort and value for money. All Royal Enfield options don’t entice me, but if you suggest one, I can think of it. I prefer a cruiser stance, but the Kawasaki Eliminator feels too low for me. I am 5’10”. Please advise.

Considering you ride a lot with a pillion and in rural areas, where roads can suddenly disappear without warning, an adventure bike will suit your needs better than a cruiser. Under the Rs 3 lakh mark, you have the very capable TVS Apache RTX 300, and if you are willing to stretch your budget to Rs 4 lakh, then the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure X are our recommendations.
If, however, you are determined to stick to a roadster/cruiser, then your best bets would be the Royal Enfield Classic / Bullet 350 and the Honda CB350 trio. These bikes will be available under Rs 3 lakh (on-road).
Take a test ride of these bikes with a pillion onboard to understand which one serves you best.

I am looking for a lightweight motorcycle under a Rs 2 lakh budget for short weekend rides to nearby destinations. I like the Yamaha XSR155. Is it suitable for two riders in terms of rear seat comfort, or should I consider other options?

The Yamaha XSR155 has many strengths, like great fuel efficiency, engaging handling and performance from its R15-derived underpinnings and its clean, neo-retro design. However, its stiff suspension will be far from ideal over bad patches of road, resulting in discomfort for your back. It is also a rather small bike physically, which means two-up riding won't be comfortable for long durations, unless you are both smaller people.
Therefore, we would advise you to look at alternatives like the TVS Ronin or Royal Enfield Hunter 350, both of which are more spacious and have better suspension comfort than the XSR. A test ride of both two-up should help you decide which is best for you.

Hi, I am looking for a bike I can ride for occasional long drives as well as city riding. I’m 44 years old and want to start my passion for long drives. I’m considering bikes like Hunter 350 and Honda 350 but also want something with good mileage. I’m 5'5" and the Yamaha XSR 155 looks good with a retro feel and lower cost. Please suggest.

The Yamaha XSR155 will make for a welcoming partner for someone who wants to start riding long distances. It has excellent fuel economy, engaging performance and is also quite lightweight. Do bear in mind that over bad roads, your back will hurt after a while because of its stiff rear suspension. 

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is a more relaxed machine than the XSR in terms of its performance and handling on account of being heavier and being powered by a soulful yet simple air-cooled engine. The Hunter will be more comfortable than the XSR, but it will also return lower fuel economy. 

Another option to consider if you're looking at these two bikes is the TVS Ronin

To make an informed decision, take a test ride of all three bikes before you decide.

I have been using the Hero Xoom 110 for almost three years now. It delivers good fuel efficiency of around 55-60kmpl and is easy to handle due to its light weight. However, I am facing vibration issues with the scooter and have also had poor service experiences at service centres. Please guide me if I should go for the TVS Ntorq 150 or the Yamaha RayZR Street Rally 125.

The Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Street Rally will feel like a small step up from your Xoom in terms of performance while continuing to return good fuel efficiency because of its hybrid assist, stop/start system and light weight. Yamaha products are known for their reliability, refinement and aren't expensive to maintain, so the Ray is a good option to consider.
The TVS Ntorq 150 will feel like a big step up from your Xoom 110 because of its exciting and brisk performance. Do bear in mind that fuel efficiency will take a big hit if you ride enthusiastically, and that TVS doesn't have the best reputation when it comes to after-sales service. However, as a fun-to-ride scooter, you'll struggle to do much better than the Ntorq today.
