Sales numbers for the six biggest two-wheeler manufacturers are here and here’s how each company performed in June 2025.

Hero: 5,25,136 units

Market leader Hero sits at the top with over 5 lakh units sold, recording a 7.39 percent growth over May 2025’s sales (4,88,997 units) in the process. Even in comparison to its June 2024 sales of 4,91,416 units, Hero reported a 6.86 percent increase. Last month, Hero and its partner Harley-Davidson announced prices for the 2025 big bike line-up of the fabled American brand.

Honda: 3,88,812 units

While Honda has been neck and neck or has even overtaken Hero for the number 1 position in the Indian market, June 2025 saw it record a 6.82 percent decline over May 2025’s 4,17,256 units. Its 19.43 percent decrease in sales in comparison to June 2024 (4,82,597 units) was even sharper. Honda has been on the offensive in the big bike space in India of late, and last month, it brought the 2025 Transalp XL750 middleweight adventure bike to India.

TVS: 2,81,012 units

As is customary, TVS trails Hero and Honda, and the Hosur-based major reported a 9.14 percent decrease in June 2025 compared to its sales for May (3,09,287 units). However, it did report a 9.89 percent increase when compared to its June 2024 sales tally of 2,55,734 units. It bears mentioning that these numbers don’t include those of the iQube, which has been India’s bestselling electric scooter for three months on the trot now. TVS recently updated its Apache 200 and Apache 160 2V with new features and colours, and the Ntorq scooter recently surpassed the 2 million unit sales milestone.

Bajaj: 1,49,317 units

Bajaj is in its de facto number four position, and in June 2025, it reported a substantial 21.99 percent decrease in comparison to May 2025’s sales figure of 1,91,412 units. The Chakan-based company also reported a decrease of 15.74 percent when compared to June 2024 (1,77,207 units). The company includes the sales of the Chetak electric scooter (second bestseller in the market after TVS iQube) into this figure. Bajaj is working on yet another 125cc bike (it already has four existing models in that displacement range), which is reported to break cover in FY26.

Suzuki: 95,244 units

Suzuki has surpassed the 1 lakh unit sales milestone for quite a few months now, but its June 2025 sales figure stopped a little short of that mark. In the process, the company recorded a 11.63 percent decline – it sold 1,07,780 units in May. This is a big 33.98 percent increase in comparison to its June 2024 sales tally (71,086 units). Last month, Suzuki launched the OBD2B-compliant version of the V-Strom 800DE middleweight adventure bike.

Royal Enfield: 76,957 units

Last but certainly not least, we have Royal Enfield, which reported a marginal 1.50 percent increase in June compared to its May 2025 sales of 75,820 units. This is a 16.40 percent increase compared to its June 2024 numbers too (66,117 units). The company recently resumed sales of the Scram 440 and has also revised the price of the tubeless rims it offers as an accessory on the Himalayan 450.
