Harley-Davidson has announced prices for its entire 2025 model year line-up of imported cruiser and ADV models in India. All the machines that were on sale in 2024 have been carried forward with minor price increments, with a couple of changes within the Softail family. H-D will also be bringing two CVO models to India later this year.

  1. H-D Heritage Classic sees price drop of Rs 3.34 lakh
  2. Price hike ranges between Rs 12,000 and Rs 80,000
  3. Street Bob, CVO Road Glide and Street Glide launching later this year

Softail family will see a rejig, CVO models coming later this year

The most affordable big Harley-Davidson model in India (and worldwide) is the Nightster, priced at Rs 13.51 lakh. Next up, we have the Nightster Special, which has an asking price of Rs 14.29 lakh. At the top of this new Sportster family sits the Rs 16.70 lakh Sportster S. Harley’s sole ADV in India is the Pan America 1250 Special, priced at Rs 25.10 lakh. All of the Harleys mentioned above have liquid-cooled 60-degree, V-Twin engines displacing either 975cc or 1,252cc.

Softail lineup will see some changes this year

Fat Bob is on its way out, Street Bob will be its replacement

Moving on, we have the Softail family, which has models that are more a traditionalist’s idea of what a Harley-Davidson should look, sound and feel like. The most affordable model in this range is the Rs 21.49 lakh Fat Bob, and it is also the only one to be powered by the older and smaller (only relatively so) 1,868cc Milwaukee Eight 114CI engine. This bike will be discontinued soon and will be replaced by the Street Bob.

Harley-Davidson has listed the Street Bob on its Indian website too, although its price will be revealed at a later unspecified date. Historically, the Street Bob has been one of the most affordable models in the Softail family (even when it was part of the Dyna range before it), and when it does go on sale, it will be the entry point to the Softail line-up, replacing the Fat Bob. For 2025, it is also powered by the new 117CI motor and it is one of the lighter models in Harley-Davidson’s cruiser line-up – again, relatively speaking.

The next step up is the Heritage Classic, which, for 2025, is powered by the newer and bigger Milwaukee Eight 117CI engine – displacing 1,923cc – that replaces the older 114CI motor. Another welcome change for 2025 on the Heritage Classic is that it has seen a significant price reduction and is now priced at Rs 23.85 lakh, down from the 2024 model’s asking price of Rs 27.19 lakh.

Then comes the legendary Fat Boy – perhaps the most recognisable H-D model worldwide – which also trades in the 114CI motor for the newer 117CI mill. For 2025, the ‘Fatty’ is priced at Rs 25.90 lakh. The final model in the Softail family is the Breakout, which is priced at Rs 31.79 lakh.

Last but not least, we have the Harley-Davidson Touring models, colloquially known as ‘baggers’. The more affordable of the two is the Rs 39.30 lakh Street Glide and the other one is the Rs 42.30 lakh Road Glide. The main difference between these two is how the front fairing is mounted and the style of the headlight. On the Street Glide, it is mounted to the front fork whereas on the Road Glide, it is mounted directly to the frame.

Range-topping CVO Glides coming later this year

CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide to be launched at a later date

While these are the prices we have for now, later this year, Harley-Davidson will also bring the ultra-exclusive CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide models to our shores. CVO stands for Custom Vehicle Operations, and typically, the machines in this family of models have bigger engines, exclusive paint schemes and even more attention to detail than their ‘regular’ counterparts.

Before we end, it bears mentioning that the number given here is the starting price and speccing the bike with a different colour will drive that price upwards (in some cases by more than Rs 1 lakh). And there are a myriad of customisation options for any Harley-Davidson you purchase, so it is worth making a trip to the company’s website after you read this piece for the full details.
