Rakesh Sharma, Bajaj Auto Ltd executive director, outlined a product plan speaking at the company's Q2 FY26 analyst call, which includes three new Pulsars, an all-new ICE motorcycle brand, a new Chetak EV and a sub-350cc KTM-Triumph motorcycle.

  1. First new Pulsar model expected in December
  2. New ICE motorcycle brand in the works
  3. Upcoming Chetak model to be launched in early 2026
  4. 350cc Triumph and KTM range also in the works

Pulsar

There are three new Pulsar models expected to launch.

There are three new models expected in the Pulsar line-up starting this December. This will be followed by the launch of the refreshed sporty commuter and performance line-up in March and May 2026. Sharma said that positive market sentiment and GST-linked affordability improvements "offer excellent opportunities to attract customers to our Pulsar portfolio," which is being "further strengthened with new variants."

A New Motorcycle Brand

This will be a new brand of ICE motorcycles.

Bajaj is also preparing to launch an entirely new ICE brand to broaden its motorcycle base beyond the Pulsar. Rakesh Sharma said, "That part I'm holding close to my chest, but it will be sooner than later. It's an absolutely new development. It will happen in the next fiscal, but earlier than later." Expect this new brand to cater to the growing upgraders space.

New Chetak EV

Will launch in early 2026.

Bajaj is readying an all-new Chetak EV by early 2026. Rakesh Sharma said that Bajaj will aim to maintain the leadership position here on. The launch of an absolutely new model by early next year, combined with the growing Chetak network, should further strengthen its claims to leadership." The brand currently has 390 exclusive outlets and 4,000+ sales points across 800 cities. This is expected to power its next phase of EV expansion. Recently, a Chetak was spotted testing, and it could very well be the new model.

Sub-350cc KTM & Triumph Range

These new motorcycles will offer more value with the new GST 2.0 rates.

To adapt to India's new GST structure, where bikes below 350cc are only taxed at 18 percent and bikes above 350cc are taxed at 40 percent, Bajaj – and its partners KTM and Triumph – are developing new sub-350cc motorcycles. Rakesh Sharma said, "That work is going on at a feverish pace... I don't want just to give timelines, but I think you will all be surprised by how fast we can swing that through." These new models will balance performance and pricing to stay competitive in India's fast-growing mid-capacity segment.
