Bajaj has updated the Pulsar 220F with a long-awaited feature in the form of an LED headlight. The model last received a notable update in December 2025, when it gained refreshed graphics, LED indicators and new colour schemes.

  1. Pulsar 220F now features an LED headlight and LED indicators
  2. Mechanically unchanged with 220cc engine producing 20.9hp and 18.6Nm
  3. Available in four colour schemes

Bajaj Pulsar 220F update

Gets a new LED headlight and integrated LED DRLs

The biggest change is the addition of a new LED headlight unit with integrated LED DRLs, replacing the previous halogen setup. The updated lighting is housed within the familiar semi-faired front end, while the rest of the bodywork remains unchanged and continues to carry the silhouette that has become synonymous with the Pulsar 220F over the years.

Beyond the lighting upgrade, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to be powered by the same 220cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine producing 20.9hp and 18.6Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

The updated Pulsar 220F is now priced at Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), representing an increase of Rs 8,000 over the Rs 1.28 lakh price tag it carried following its previous update in December.

The Pulsar 220F remains one of the oldest motorcycles in Bajaj's portfolio and continues to enjoy a loyal following despite increasing competition from newer and more modern alternatives. As we recently reported, Bajaj is also preparing a major refresh of its Classic Pulsar range, with what appears to be the next-generation Pulsar 125 already spotted testing on Indian roads. Those motorcycles are expected to move to an all-new platform with significant chassis and suspension changes, and it remains to be seen whether the 220F will be included in that overhaul.
