Mahindra recently unveiled four new concept cars on Independence Day underpinned by an all-new flexible monocoque architecture. The Mahindra Vision cars preview future models that will join the Scorpio, Thar and XUV families. The Mahindra Vision cars do not just preview how the models in each of these families will look like, but they also give us a look at what their interiors are going to be like.
Perhaps the one that piqued the most interest among the new Mahindra Vision cars was the Vision T. On the inside, the Vision T has a typical techy appeal like we have come to expect from modern Mahindras, with a focus on software. The interior gets a free-standing digital instrument cluster and a large portrait-oriented central touchscreen infotainment system, along with some physical switchgear on the centre console. There’s also a new 3-spoke steering wheel, and in keeping with the car’s rugged appeal, the dashboard has a minimalistic design but seems to be made of hard-wearing materials.
