Like the ICE version’s facelift, the updated Punch EV may sport revised LED DRLs and a more muscular bumper design up front. New aero-optimised alloy wheels are likely to be the only notable changes on the Punch EV facelift’s side profile, while the rear end may feature a new LED light bar and tweaked bumper akin to the ICE Punch. Expect new colour options to join the Punch EV range too.

Could get a new 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen
No updates are expected for the basic layout of the Punch EV facelift’s interior, but the colour scheme, trim pieces, and features list are likely to see changes. Notably, the current 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen could give way to the 12.3-inch unit from the bigger Nexon EV – possibly running newer software – in higher variants of the Punch EV facelift.
Elsewhere, goodies like the 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, wireless charging pad, 360-degree camera, auto-dimming IRVM, ventilated front seats, connected car tech, ambient lighting, and more will be retained from the existing Punch EV.

Where the ICE Punch facelift saw the addition of a new turbo-petrol engine option, the Punch EV facelift is anticipated to carry forward the current model’s 25kWh and 35kWh battery packs. Both are mated to single front-mounted motors that output 82hp and 114Nm in 25kWh guise and 122hp and 190Nm in the 35kWh variants.
Claimed range for the Punch EV 25kWh stands at 265km, while the 35kWh version can travel up to 365km on a single charge. The Punch EV facelift’s claimed range figures may be slightly different.

The Tata Punch EV facelift is slated to debut on February 20 – just over a month and a half after the ICE Punch facelift was launched. As for pricing, the Punch EV facelift is expected to come in at a mild premium over the outgoing model, the price range for which is Rs 9.99 lakh-14.44 lakh (ex-showroom). The Punch EV facelift will continue to rival the Citroen eC3.
