If you’ve just got your first promotion and are looking for a car that perfectly represents the changing pace of your life, NEXA has you covered with its newest sporty compact SUV, FRONX. After all, what better way to celebrate a personal milestone than with an SUV that introduces a new design trend into the SUV segment, combining stunningly fresh design with spirited performance and futuristic safety and technology features.

    Design of the times

FRONX sports an aerodynamic silhouette with an upright stance and a wide bonnet that radiates confidence and gives its occupants a commanding road presence. The signature NEXWave grille with chrome garnish seamlessly flows into the NEXTre’ LED DRLs, complementing the SUV’s futuristic design language. On the side, the squared-off wheel arches with black cladding, roof rails, muscular fenders and body cladding elevate its formidable stance.

Interestingly, the alloy wheels sport a new dual-finish geometric precision-cut design that complements the SUV’s overall dynamic design. The SUV’s rising waistline has a prominent hunch over the rear wheels and the roofline dips towards the tailgate. One look at FRONX ’s rear profile is enough to cement its futuristic design and modern exterior credentials, thanks to the wide sweeping NEXTre' full LED connected Rear Combination Lamp (RCL) that runs across the width of the rear. It makes you wonder, as far as style statements go, does it really get any better?

    Exciting powertrains

The NEXA FRONX SUV comes with multiple powertrain options to cater to various customer requirements. Performance enthusiasts go for the new 1.0-litre, K-Series Turbo Boosterjet Engine producing 100hp and 147.6Nm that can be paired with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic with Paddle Shifters. The turbo-petrol engine promises incredible acceleration combined with an excellent drive, thanks to NEXA’s Progressive Smart Hybrid Technology. Get this: the tech involves a lithium-ion battery and an integrated starter generator that assist brake energy recovery.

FRONX also comes with a 1.2L K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT naturally aspirated engine that puts out 89.7hp and 113Nm. It is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a NEXA-pioneered 5-AGS (Auto Gear Shift). Combined with Idle Start Stop technology, the 1.2L K-series engine is engineered to offer excellent drive performance without compromising on superior fuel efficiency. It’s like having your cake and eating it too!

    Youthful interiors

The stylish and premium design language of the exterior extends to the interiors as well. Upon stepping inside FRONX, occupants are greeted with a sense of spaciousness and bold design elements such as a Dual-Tone Black and Bordeaux colour scheme and high-gloss silver inserts. The interior gets a special forged metal-like matte finish on the dashboard.

The youthful and contemporary interiors are ably complemented by thoughtful features that promise an engaging drive experience. These include Cruise Control, Steering Wheel Mounted Controls, Front Center Armrest, Rear AC Vents and Fast USB Charging Sockets at the rear.

    Primed with technology

FRONX is packed with futuristic technology for folks who are individualistic and set the trend. The 22.86cm (9-inch) SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system with HD display and with premium sound powered by “ARKAMYS” takes centre stage on the SUV’s dashboard. As far as seamless smartphone connectivity goes, FRONX is equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. There’s also a wide range of connectivity features such as Head up Display with turn-by-turn navigation, 360 View Camera and Wireless Charger to offer an unmatched experience.

The premium technology offering in FRONX is suitably rounded off with the company’s in-built next-gen telematics system Suzuki Connect. It enables customers to experience over 40 intelligent connected car features such as remotely activating functions such as the AC operation, door lock, headlamp off, and many more.

    Advanced Safety

NEXA gives a lot of importance to road safety and responsibility and continues to put safety first in its cars. Its focus on safety is evident with FRONX as well, with the SUV being developed on Suzuki’s signature HEARTECT platform that uses high tensile and ultra-high tensile steel to help resist deformation with precision. The platform includes precisely constructed crumple zones at the front and rear to absorb impact, delivering confidence and trust with every drive.

FRONX is equipped with six airbags (Side and Curtain, Dual Front) in select variants (Zeta and Alpha), with Dual Front Airbags standard across the range. Tech-driven safety features include ESP with Hill Hold Assist & roll-over mitigation, ABS with EBD & brake assist and ISOFIX Child Seat Restraint System among others, ensuring top-notch reliability. The premium and stylish SUV can be had in an array of exciting colours, including six single-tone shade options and three trendy dual-tone colours.

Ultimately, the evolving modern sensibilities of customers require a modern, classy vehicle and FRONX meets that requirement perfectly. Customers who see themselves as the discerning few, as risk takers and trendsetters, who value cars that are not only striking to look at but also ooze performance, needn’t look further than the NEXA FRONX: an SUV that breaks the convention and brings a new dimension to the SUV segment.
