Toyota Kirloskar Motor today announced a new car manufacturing facility in the Bidkin Industrial Area, Maharashtra. The facility is expected to start production in the first half of 2029, and it will initially have an annual capacity of 1 lakh vehicles. Together, Toyota's two existing plants have a combined production capacity of up to 3.4 lakh units a year and employ 6,466 permanent staff across about 432 acres of land.
