The first of VinFast Auto India’s showrooms has been inaugurated over the weekend in Surat, Gujarat. The 3,000 sq ft showroom, called VinFast Surat and promoted by Chandan Car, will have both the Vietnamese brand’s first models for India on display – the VF6 and VF7.

VinFast VF6, VF7 bookings can be made online or at the new dealership.
The VinFast Surat dealership is the first of 35 (across 27 cities) that the company plans to open before the end of 2025, which is three more than the target it had set on July 15. Bookings for the EV-only brand’s models can now be made at the new Surat dealership, while pre-bookings had opened on July 15 on its website for Rs 21,000 amount.
VinFast VF6 and VF7 variants and colours
Both EVs have 6 exterior colour options.
While prices for the VinFast VF6 and VF7 have yet to be announced, the smaller VF6 is available in two variants – Earth and Wind – while the larger VF7 gets three – Earth, Wind and Sky. The Earth variants feature black interior upholstery, while the Wind and Sky variants get dual-tone grey and Mocca Brown interiors. For the exterior, both e-SUVs have six colour options – Jet Black, Desat Silver, Infinity Blanc, Crimson Red, Zenith Grey, and Urban Mint.
VF6 gets 59.6kWh battery; V7F gets 70.8kWh unit.
Other feature highlights include a 12.9-inch touchscreen, ventilated front seats, 7 airbags, a Level 2 ADAS suite, dual-zone climate control and a large glass roof, among others. The company has said that it is aiming for a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating. The VF6 is powered by a 59.6kWh battery pack, while the VF7 gets a 70.8kWh unit. VinFast has yet to reveal MIDC-rated range figures for either offering, but it has confirmed that the VF6 will be a 204hp front-wheel-drive EV, while the VF7 will have 204hp FWD and 350hp AWD versions.
