Toyota Rumion is a promising blend of Ertiga with Toyota's reliability. It offers plush seating and ample legroom for a comfortable ride, along with key safety features.
The on-road price is very good, and it performs well. The engine is silent, and the steering is smooth and lightweight. The second-row comfort is impressive; everything is decent in this car.
Driving experience is smooth with quality interiors. I drove in heavy traffic and never felt tired or had back pain. The seating position is ergonomic.
I just drive and love this car. No noise inside, next level car, fuel efficiency is also very good, near 22 km/l for a 7-seater. No other car can beat this.
The Toyota Rumion is a worthwhile investment. It has commendable performance and mileage, making it suitable for daily commutes and long trips. The spaciousness enhances its appeal for extended journeys.
Excellent customer service and performance. The riding comfort is better, and it has a good balance and style. Long drives are super, and performance is excellent in India.
The Toyota Rumion is a classy and functional 7-seater MPV. It offers comfort, fuel efficiency, and reliability, making it great for Indian families. The cabin is spacious, and the engine provides smooth performance, especially in urban settings.
Upgraded from Ertiga, and the suspension is better. Service was good too. The front-facing design looks cool and smart. Overall, worth the purchase.
Super drive, fully comfortable and looks rich. Boot space is good, and the suspension is smooth, giving a nice driving experience. The seating is very comfortable, and the interior is nice with fast cooling AC.
The Toyota Rumion is a good choice as it fits the budget and carries the trust of Toyota.

Drove my Rumion 900 km straight for a family wedding last week. The third row held up fine even with two adults in it for most of the trip.
indly suggest whether I should choose a new Toyota Innova Crysta GX Plus, a pre-owned Toyota Innova Crysta from TUCO Toyota, a Toyota Rumion, or Maruti Suzuki Ertiga for tourism use, family travel, and long-term ownership? I am confused. Kindly guide.
You haven't mentioned your budget, but since you're considering a brand new Toyota Innova Crysta GX Plus variant, it is safe to assume that you're comfortable spending close to Rs 25 lakhs (on-road). Since this vehicle will be used for commercial purposes, it would be better to buy a new car to start with. You will be able to claim tax refunds as well as benefit from asset depreciation in your company's books. Additionally, you get the peace of mind of a new vehicle, and the backing of a company warranty. To address the second part of your question, the Maruti Ertiga VXI MT or Toyota Rumion S MT costs half as much as an Innova Crysta GX Plus, resulting in a tremendous saving. In fact, you can even buy two cars for the price of one Innova. Both, Ertiga and Rumion are equally reliable. And even though these are petrol-powered, they're quite fuel efficient, and their maintenance costs will be lower than that of the diesel Crysta. Between the Ertiga and Rumion, even though they're the same, the Toyota is a bit more expensive, hence purely from a savings perspective, the Ertiga makes more sense.Overall, all three cars you've listed are reliable, dependable, and are backed by the widespread, strong network of Toyota and Maruti. It is up to you to decide whether you want to buy a new Crysta GX or if you're happy to buy one, or even examples of the Maruti Ertiga and Toyota Rumion.Whichever you pick, these are cars you can't go wrong with.
My requirement is a 6-7 seater vehicle. For low maintenance cost, I can go with either CNG or diesel car as my monthly running is 1000 km and occasionally it can be as high as 2000-3000 km monthly. I am from Pune and my frequent outstation routes will be Mumbai, Kolhapur, Latur and Kokan area (ghat sections). Also, since I can rent it out as self driving car and I will own upto 7-10 years. I have owned Alto, Wagon R, SX4, EON and i20 active disel. I have mentioned vehicles so that you can understand my driving and owning experience.
Given your requirements, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga CNG is the most sensible recommendation. Your monthly running of around 1,000 km, with occasional spikes, does not justify a diesel, especially with the higher purchase cost and maintenance associated with modern diesel engines. The Ertiga CNG strikes the right balance between low running costs, reliability and practicality. It is a proven 7-seater with a comfortable ride, good service network and low maintenance costs, which is important given your plan to keep the car for 7-10 years. The CNG system is factory-fitted and well-integrated, making it a far better option than any aftermarket CNG installation. The only drawback is the reduced boot space with the CNG tank, but for your usage pattern and occasional rental plans, the overall cost savings outweigh this limitation. If you need more space and comfort, the Maruti Suzuki XL6 CNG is a good alternative, offering a more premium cabin and captain seats in the middle row making it a strict 6-seater, but the Ertiga remains the more value-driven choice. Alternatively, there is also the Toyota Rumion, which is Toyota's version of the Ertiga so if there is a lower waiting time, you can check out the Rumion too.
