Toyota Innova HyCross price in Mandya

₹23.01 - ₹39.65 Lakh
On road price in
EMI starting at ₹33,304 /month

Choosing between the strong-hybrid and regular-petrol Innova Hycross comes down to a payback calculation: pay more upfront for the hybrid and recover it through fuel savings over time, or pay less at purchase and carry higher running costs for years. That trade-off only becomes concrete once the city-specific numbers are on the table. In Mandya, the on-road figure layers RTO registration, insurance and other statutory charges over the ex-showroom price, and this varies from city to city for an identical trim. For September 2026 in Mandya, the base model, Petrol G 7 seat, carries an ex-showroom price of Rs. 18.70 lakh, which works out to Rs. 23.01 lakh on-road.

  • Base variant, Petrol G 7 seat (Petrol G, 7-seat): Rs. 23.01 lakh on-road in Mandya
  • Hybrid ZX (O) 7 seat, the top model with a panoramic sunroof and a 9-speaker JBL system: Rs. 39.65 lakh on-road
  • The strong-hybrid range commands roughly a Rs. 6-7 lakh premium over the equivalent regular-petrol automatic, a straight trade-off between upfront cost and running efficiency
  • Best value pick: Hybrid VX, the point where the hybrid powertrain's efficiency gains become worthwhile without paying for the top variant's leather upholstery and panoramic sunroof

Opting for a loan on the base variant, Petrol G 7 seat, brings the monthly outlay to an EMI of Rs. 33,304 against a loan of Rs. 20,70,000. Given how wide the price spread runs between the regular-petrol and hybrid lines, the deciding factor ultimately comes down to whether long-term fuel savings outweigh a lower on-road price in Mandya.

I own an Toyota Innova Crysta VX manual for the past 8 years that has completed one lakh km. I use it mostly for long distance and occasional city use. For most city driving, I have a Kia Sonnet automatic. Now, I am planning to buy an Toyota Innova HyCross. Should I go for the hybrid or NA petrol version? Also, can I consider Invicto for hybrid?

Given your usage pattern of predominantly long-distance driving with occasional city use, the strong hybrid HyCross is the more sensible choice. The hybrid system delivers its benefits in both city traffic, as well as on long highway runs, making the premium you pay for the hybrid totally worth it. The naturally aspirated petrol, while smooth, is a gas guzzler that only makes sense for extremely limited urban use.The Invicto is essentially the same car as the HyCross underneath, so it is absolutely worth considering if you prefer the Maruti dealership experience or find a better deal. The decision between the two should come down to pricing, availability and your preferred service network rather than the product itself.

I am planning to buy a new SUV under Rs 30 lakh and am open to both five- and seven-seater options. I have tried the Toyota Innova HyCross non-hybrid, Mahindra XUV 7XO, Hyundai Alcazar, Kia Seltos and Renault Duster, but I am confused about which one to choose. My main priorities are space, comfort and a good engine. My running is not very high, at just under 1,000km a month. Please advise.

Go for the Toyota Innova HyCross non-hybrid. Your priorities are space, comfort and a good engine, and the HyCross delivers on all three. It is one of the most spacious cars in the segment, with a genuinely usable third row and a comfortable ride that makes it an excellent family car. The petrol engine is smooth, refined and well suited to your running of under 1,000 km a month, where the hybrid premium is harder to justify. The Mahindra XUV 7XO is a strong alternative with a more powerful engine and a more feature-rich cabin, but the HyCross has the edge on space, comfort and long-term ownership experience. The Hyundai Alcazar and Kia Seltos are good cars, but they do not offer the same level of space or comfort, and the Renault Duster is more of a driver's car than a family car. The Toyota car mentioned above is the car you will be happiest with after five years of ownership.

I am planning to buy a 7-seater car. My daily running is approximately 15-20 km, with occasional trips of 60-70 km once a week. I have shortlisted two cars based on my preferences: the Innova Hycross and XUV 7XO. I am confused between the two. Which one would be the best for my requirements, and which fuel option should I choose?

Go for the Toyota Innova Hycross strong hybrid. With your daily running of 15-20 km and occasional 60-70 km trips, a diesel does not make financial sense, and the hybrid will give you significantly better fuel efficiency in city driving than petrol. The Hycross is also the more comfortable and spacious 7-seater, with a proven Toyota ownership experience and lower long-term maintenance costs. The XUV 7XO is the better driver's car, offers more features and has a more premium cabin, but for your usage pattern, the Hycross strong hybrid is the more sensible and hassle-free choice.

I am currently using a Hyundai Creta 1.5 CRDi diesel and am looking for an upgrade. I have shortlisted three cars: the Mahindra XUV 7XO, Toyota Innova HyCross and Hyundai Alcazar. I will drive around 400-500 km per week. Which one should I prefer?

Verified

Go for the Toyota Innova Hycross. With 400-500 km a week, you need a car that is comfortable, reliable and effortless over long distances. The Toyota Innova HyCross hybrid is the best fit here. It is extremely comfortable, has a spacious cabin, and the hybrid powertrain is smooth and efficient, especially on highways where it delivers excellent fuel economy for a car of its size. Toyota's reliability and low maintenance costs also make it a strong long-term ownership proposition. The Mahindra XUV 7XO diesel is a good alternative if you specifically want a diesel SUV with strong performance and a more engaging driving experience, but the Hycross is the better all-rounder for your usage. The Hyundai Alcazar is not a true upgrade from your Creta and does not offer the same level of space, comfort or long-distance capability as the other two.The only drawback with the HyCross is that it is not as engaging to drive as the XUV 7XO, but for your usage, comfort and efficiency matter more. Overall, the HyCross is the car you will be happiest with after five years of ownership.

My requirement is for a reasonably large 7-seater vehicle because I frequently go on very long drives. Sometimes, I even drive 1,200 km in a single stretch. I have been driving a Toyota Etios Liva for almost 15 years, and the car has given me virtually zero problems. So, I have firsthand experience of Toyota reliability. My budget is around Rs. 24 lakh, and reliability is my number-one priority. I love diesel cars, although I understand that diesel options are fewer. At the moment, I am mainly considering the non-hybrid Toyota Innova HyCross ZX(O) petrol. Within my budget, I mayconsider Innova Crysta, depending on the variant and on-road price. I am also considering Honda City Hybrid, but my concern is the reduced boot space in the hybrid version, and of course, it isn’t a 7-seater. I’m not really looking at too many other brands, although I’m also wondering about the Mahindra XUV 7XO. I haven’t driven it yet, so I’m not sure whether I should seriously consider it. When I compare Mahindra with Toyota, I personally don’t feel that Toyota-level reliability is there and reliability is important to me because I plan to keep the vehicle for many years. I also like some of the newer brands and products such as Citroen but I am concerned whether manufacturers will continue operating in India in the long term. I don’t want to buy a vehicle from a brand that may disappear. So, given my requirements including a 7-seater car for long-distance driving, excellent reliability, comfortable highway cruising, reasonable boot space, and a budget of around Rs. 24 lakh, which car would you recommend? Should I go for the Innova HyCross ZX(O) non-hybrid, Innova Crysta, or take a chance on something like the Mahindra XUV 7XO? I’m particularly interested in your recommendation from a long-term ownership and reliability, comfort perspective, because after owning a Toyota for 15 years, I know what genuine reliability feels like.

Given your priorities, the Innova Crysta makes the most sense. You have already experienced Toyota reliability over 15 years, frequently undertake extremely long highway drives and specifically prefer diesel. The Crysta matches that brief better than the HyCross or XUV 7XO.The 2.4-litre diesel is well suited to long-distance touring, with strong low-end torque and a relaxed character on the highway. It also offers a genuinely usable seven-seat cabin and good luggage space. Most importantly, its long-established powertrain and Toyota's service support make it the safer choice if you intend to keep the car for many years. The HyCross is more modern and more efficient, but there is an important point about the variant you mentioned: the ZX(O) is hybrid-only. If you want the naturally aspirated petrol, the top grade is the GX(O), which is available with seven or eight seats. The hybrid ZX(O) is also considerably beyond your Rs. 24 lakh budget. The XUV 7XO is worth a test drive, but if reliability is genuinely your number-one priority, the Toyota is the more reassuring long-term choice.
