Kia Seltos Mileage

The Seltos HTK optional petrol variant has a big issue with mileage.

The Kia Seltos HTK Diesel AT is a better choice if you drive around 18000 kms a year. An automatic transmission is essential for city driving. Petrol variants may not offer good fuel efficiency in traffic. Avoid base variants if possible.

If you really think about mileage, then go for the Seltos NA engine.

Diesel automatics are good but have a DPF issue. Need to drive on highways at high speeds to clear it.

I bought the Seltos petrol version in 2023. It gives a mileage of 10-11 km/l. I recommend going for the CVT for city usage. Diesel may have stricter norms in the future, so petrol seems a safer choice.
