Volkswagen dealerships across the country are offering sizeable discounts in May, with all models – Virtus, Taigun and the Tiguan – listed with benefits. Read on to see how much you can save on the purchase of a new Volkswagen this month.

Volkswagen Virtus discounts May 2024
Save up to Rs 1.40 lakh
The Virtus midsize sedan gets benefits worth up to Rs 1.40 lakh this month. Depending on the variant, the Virtus gets a cash discount of up to Rs 90,000, exchange bonus of up to Rs 30,000 and corporate benefits of Rs 20,000 on MY2023 units, while MY2024 models have lesser cash discout of up to a maximum of Rs 30,000. The Virtus comes with two engine options: a 115hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 150hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and it rivals the Hyundai Verna, Honda City and Maruti Ciaz. VW is also set to introduce a new GT Plus Sport variant of the sedan soon.
Volkswagen Taigun discounts May 2024
Save up to Rs 1.15 lakh
The Volkswagen Taigun is available with benefits worth up to Rs 1.15 lakh this month. Depending on the variant, buyers can avail a cash discount of up to Rs 65,000, exchange bonus worth up to Rs 30,000, along with corporate benefits of Rs 20,000. As with the Virtus, VW dealers are offering these benefits on both MY2023 and MY2024 cars, including special editions like the GT Edge Trail. The Taigun shares its powertrain options with the Virtus and rivals the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. VW recently unveiled the new GT Line and GT Plus Sport versions of the SUV.
Volkswagen Tiguan discounts May 2024
Save up to Rs 1.50 lakh
The Tiguan SUV, which is currently VW’s flagship in India, can be had with benefits worth up to Rs 1.50 lakh this month. MY2023 models get a cash discount of Rs 75,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 75,000, along with a free 4-year service package, while MY2024 models are just being offered with an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000. The Tiguan comes with a sole 190hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that sends power to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and VW’s 4Motion system.
