Tata Nexon with ADAS launched

Just a month after introducing a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) tech on the Nexon EV, Tata Motors has launched the Nexon petrol with the same active safety features. The ADAS suite is only available on the range-topping Tata Nexon Fearless +PS with the turbo-petrol engine and dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

ADAS-equipped Nexon costs Rs 27,000 more than previous top-spec Fearless +PS DCA. 

Considering that the previous top-spec Nexon Fearless +PS petrol-automatic is priced at Rs 13.26 lakh, the ADAS-equipped variant costs Rs 27,000 more. The Nexon with ADAS is also available in Red Dark form for a Rs 28,000 premium, costing Rs 13.81 lakh.

The Level 2 ADAS suite on the Nexon brings active safety features such as forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, high-beam assist and traffic sign recognition.

Tata Motors has also rolled out more Red Dark variants for the Nexon. For the first time, the unique exterior and interior colour option is available with the Nexon CNG, in addition to the previously available petrol and diesel versions. Based on their respective top-spec variants, the Red Dark versions cost Rs 27,000-28,000 more than the trim they are based on.
