Skoda Enyaq facelift teaser

Following a design sketch of the rear quarter of the Enyaq facelift, Skoda has now dropped yet another teaser that previewes the face of the updated SUV. The Skoda Enyaq facelift will get the brand’s new ‘Modern Solid’ design language that debuted with the Elroq EV, and a few details reminiscent of the smaller SUV are already apparent under the cover.

  2. Expected to debut globally by mid-2025
  3. Will likely come with improved range as well

Skoda Enyaq facelift exterior design teased

The existing Skoda Enyaq gets a single-piece headlamp, but this teaser reveals that the teaser will get a split headlamp setup. More interesting is the new ‘Tech Deck’ panel that comprises of four segmented LED daytime running lamp elements at either edge. These appear connected by the illuminated portion in the ‘grille’, which is a blanked-off contrasting panel. With the LED Matrix headlamps now positioned on the bumper, the face could largely resemble the Elroq EV for a familiar family look.

The previous sketch that gave us a look at the SUV's rear didn’t suggest there would be any major changes, but it is expected to get new trim inserts for the rear bumper and side skirts, along with some new dark chrome accents. Also, like the Elroq, the Enyaq will ditch the traditional winged arrow Skoda logo for a new lettermark logo. Skoda says the exterior redesign has improved the aerodynamic efficiency of the SUV, promising greater range.

These updates will also be mirrored on the Enyaq coupe, and both models are expected to debut sometime before mid-2025.

Skoda Enyaq India launch details

The launch of the Enyaq electric SUV in India is long overdue, and the pre-facelift is expected to make a reappearance at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January. It has also been spied testing on our roads on multiple occasions.

Spy shots had shown that the Enyaq on test was the top-spec 80x variant, which gets a 77kWh (net) battery with up to 513km of WLTP range. It gets a dual-motor setup with one motor on each axle, producing a combined 265hp. Skoda claims a 0-100kph time of 6.9 seconds for this version.

Given that a global update is just around the corner, Skoda India could directly launch the Enyaq facelift when it eventually, but surely, goes on sale here in 2025.
