The Rs 6.30 lakh starting price of the Renault Kiger is just Rs 15,000 more than the outgoing compact SUV’s 6.15 lakh tag. Considering the previous top-spec Kiger RXZ CVT variant was priced at Rs 11.23 lakh, the new Emotion CVT variant costs Rs 7,000 more. The mid-spec Techno CVT and the top-spec Emotion turbo-manual are priced at Rs 10 .00 lakh. Interestingly, an AMT option is not available on the top-spec Emotion variant, and dual-tone colours for the Turbo variants do not cost a premium.
Powertrain options across variants are similar

As before, the Kiger continues to be offered with the same four powertrain options. The 72hp, 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine gets 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT options, while the 100hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit has CVT and 5-speed manual gearbox options.
