Over Rs 1 lakh off on the Renault Duster, Captur, Kwid

The Indian automotive industry has been experiencing an unprecedented sales slump for the past few months and the French automaker, Renault, is no exception. In order to give a fillip to their sales and clear inventory, Renault dealers have been authorised to give lucrative benefits on most models in the company's line-up. Let’s look at the discounts offered on the Duster, Captur and the Kwid all through July 2019.

    Renault Duster

Save up to Rs 1.05 lakh
With the facelift now officially on sale at dealerships across the country, Renault is offering substantial discounts on the pre-facelift version of the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki S-cross rival. Renault is offering benefits of up to Rs 1.05 lakh on the diesel varaints of the pre-facelift Duster with the petrol varaints attracting benefits of up to Rs 35,000. The Duster is offered with the choice of a 1.5-litre diesel and petrol engine options, with the former available in two states of tune. Both engines are offered with the choice of a manual or automatic gearbox (CVT for the petrol and an AMT for the more powerful 110hp diesel) with the diesel also getting the option of all-wheel drive.

    Renault Captur

    Save up to Rs 55,000
A stylish alternative to the Duster, the Renault Captur failed to capture the imagination of the Indian populace as the French automaker had hoped.  A mild update recently saw it get some additional kit but the line-up was trimmed down to just two variants. Available in the 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine guises, mated to just a manual transmission, the Captur is being offered with substantial discounts of up to Rs 55,000.

    Renault Kwid

    Save up to Rs 25,000
Being one of the more popular models in Renault’s range, the Kwid, which launched in 2015, recently crossed the 3 lakh sales milestone. Butch looks and segment-leading equipment are the main USPs of the entry-level hatch that manages to stand out from the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Alto. The Kwid is powered by 800cc and 1.0-litre engines which get a manual gearbox as standard. There is also the convenience of an AMT auto on the larger capacity petrol motor. To push sales, dealers are knocking up to Rs 25,000 off its sticker price.
