In an attempt to widen its presence across the country, Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the mobile Nexa terminal. The mobile terminal is basically a dealership on wheels that will be deployed to markets across the country where Nexa dealerships are not present. Maruti Suzuki claims that these terminals will offer an experience that’s similar to Nexa showrooms, which currently contribute to 20 percent of the company’s total sales.

Since the inception of Nexa in 2015, Maruti has set up over 360 outlets across 200 cities in the country. While most of the Nexa outlets are concentrated in cities, mobile terminals will help acquire prospective customers from smaller towns as well. Another added advantage is that the initial investment for mobile terminals will be low in comparison to setting up a full-fledged dealership.

Currently four cars are sold under the Nexa dealership chain – S-Cross, Baleno, Ignis and Ciaz.
